Your reversion of Metal Gear Solid[edit]

Please respond to my talk page if that's fine. I noticed your recent revert of an IP's edit here. Yes, it is a very odd edit, and I absolutely support your revert. However, did you see what the IP put? "uh...wait...uhhh?" That's because somebody went and did a huge vandalism directly above the IP's edit. It would be helpful next time if you reverted both of them. I understand how it might have been difficult to see, but please do so if a similar problem arises elsewhere. Cheers! --haha169 (talk) 00:58, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You were generous enough to offer to restore the Nick Savoy page to my sandbox - for some reason, I can still only find the Love Systems one. If you have done it and I'm just dense (the likely situation) would you be able to let me know where it is? I'm really sorry to bother you. Camera123456 (talk) 07:24, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moki[edit]

A tag has been placed on Moki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jabencarsey (talk) 22:17, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have resolved the vast majority of your concerns, some aspects are almost impossible to find any info on without going into original research. DYK update[edit]

Thanks for helping out, but when I have the INUSE tag on the Next Update page, it means I haven't actually finished putting the next update together and I don't want it posted to the mainpage yet. Could you please take note of that next time? Thanks.

BTW, I'm not sure if you checked the image had been protected, but since I only just did so I suspect you may have inadvertently posted an unprotected image to the front page. That's also something worth bearing in mind next time. Cheers, Gatoclass (talk) 06:33, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem Keilana, and thanks once again for helping out :)
BTW, you don't actually need to protect an image you upload to the mainpage, but you do have to add an mprotected tag. If the image is from Commons, it's a bit more complicated, you have to download the commons image to your PC, reload it on en.wiki under the same name (leaving the .jpg bit out), and add a c-protected tag and copy the copyright protection tags from the commons page. It sounds complicated but it's pretty easy after you've done it once or twice. Don't worry about doing it this time, I already did it. Gatoclass (talk) 06:47, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome :) I think you'll find the instructions on loading images are on the T:DYK page itself. You'll see them at the top when you open the page to edit it. Regards, Gatoclass (talk) 06:53, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Keilana!![edit]

Sorry to bug you while you are away and busy with "life"!!!

Very briefly, I'm working to fix a dispute that happened between an admin and the creator of an article. Apparently, the creator was blocked by the admin after the creator offended the admin, thus the creator, LDCortez, was unable to defend the article properly. I personally noticed the "war" going on between the two and felt the need to step in. I need your help to overturn the deletion, reinstate the article and to protect the page- please. As you were a part of this process, I feel you could potentially help.

THANK YOU!![edit]

page protection on The King's School, Chester[edit]

Hi Keilana -

I'm contacting you since you are the protecting admin on the The King's School, Chester page. I've been doing some research on long-term page protection policy (in general, not about that page in particular) and noticed that page has been protected since April 5.

It looks like there's been little discussion there since late April so I wonder if maybe the protection is no longer needed and you might like to unprotect it.

I am not familiar with what led up to the protection, so if you'd rather keep it protected that's fine with me. I don't edit that page, so this is not a personal request, just something that came up related to the research I've been doing.

Thanks and have a good day... --Jack-A-Roe (talk) 03:07, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can has rollback?[edit]

Hi Keilana, I hope I find you well! I've given it some thought and have decided to make a new account and try once more to join the community. Could I have the rollback privilege as per this comment? I must tell you I no longer have that IP address due to my cable company being merged with an other, however I do still have a static IP it is just a new one. Special:Contributions/98.220.39.40. Right to Vanish[edit]

Hello, I edited the note on your userpage, as WP:VANISH explicitly states that "Right to Vanish" is not for people who are not leaving Wikipedia. See also WT:VANISH where this is discussed. I believe that my replacement wording conveys your wishes as well as your previous wording, but without the misinterpretation of "Right to vanish." Regards, Mike R (talk) 19:04, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You said it was fine, but someone else reverted it. I would appreciate it if you would change it back, and also the note at the top of the talk page. It is a clear misstatement of what "right to vanish" means. Thanks, Mike R (talk) 13:14, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Film protection[edit]

Hiya, I see that the article What the Bleep Do We Know!? was protected by you in February, with a duration of "infinite". The talkpage seems to be fairly quiet, would you be amenable to lifting protection? Thanks, Elonka 20:53, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the ulcer. Keeping that article at anything resembling neutral was a near full-time job, and Wikipedia has been a much nicer place with it protected. It's nearly worse than the homeopathy articles.
Kww (talk) 00:02, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Keilana,

As part of the unprotection discussion on the Bleep talk page, I suggested an idea for a procedure that could be used with unprotection of difficult pages. I also posted a more general version of the proposed method at the Village Pump policy page. One of the responding editors there created a Article Milstone Template for use with the proposed procedure.

If you have time to take a look, maybe you'd like to apply this method with the Bleep unprotection, as a test of the idea, and also as a possible way to help the unprotection go more smoothly. If there's no edit warring, no special action would be needed. If there is renewed edit warring, this method might be able to help mediate the problems that could result. If you'd rather not get into this, no worries, it's just a suggestion. --Jack-A-Roe (talk) 00:47, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry for apparently abandoning the article. I have added a rather inclusive personnel section, and removed the specific issue the lead you mentioned, but I am still too involved in the text to give it a thorough copyediting/shakeup of the lead. On top of that, LOCE is dead, and I don't really have anyone to contact in terms of cutsie pop music- this really isn't my usual subject matter. Would it be possible for you to run through it and fix any glaring errors? If not, is the prose too weak to pass GA? J Milburn (talk) 20:37, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks very much; you know where I am if I can do anything for you. J Milburn (talk) 09:25, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not revert changes without reading the edit summary. I had reverted a change which updated the previous high value of the Australian dollar but did not update the reference, as it was an unreferenced change. The Australian dollar reached 98.40 today, but I cannot yet find a reference for this except for The Daily Reckoning, and I'd prefer to use a more mainstream source. The current reference lines up with the previous figure. I will revert your reversion of my change for this reason.

What Happened?[edit]

Hey, I noticed you deleted several cabals such as User:Diligent Terrier/Smiley Cabal back in March, but the result of the discussion here was speedy keep I don't understand why, because the very next day, you deleted them all, which means there couldn't have been a reverse decision. I might be wrong, but I was just curious as to what happened. Could you explain it to me on my talk page? Thanks. Meisfunny Gab 15:31, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
