Apology to all[edit]

I spend a lot of my time reverting vandalism, but if I make a mistake and revert something which isn't vandalism, I apologise.--Katieh5584 10:25, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You appear to do great vandalism work, but you recently reverted an attempt by an article creator to delete the article under CSD G7 by blanking a page they were they contributed the only substantial information. Please be a little more careful. Very Respectfully.--v/r - TP 18:32, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, sorry about that.--Katieh5584 (talk) 18:33, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And on the MicroVolts article, you reapplied a db-g7 tag after the author removed it. Please keep in mind that authors who request deletion can change their mind. Not a huge deal, but please just be aware.--v/r - TP 18:34, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Question about the deletion policy concerning Dr. Roushdy Gundy[edit]

Hi Katieh5584, I have a question concerning the abovementioned article. I placed a speedy-deletion template there, which was repeatedly removed by the creator (also by an IP, so nobody could be blocked). Then, suddenly, it was not reinstated as a speedy template, but as a prod-template, whíthout any reasons. Is this right? AdAstra reloaded (talk) 15:00, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, my mistake. I should have just rolled back the article.--Katieh5584 (talk) 15:02, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Dr. Ted Marcus[edit]

Hello Katieh5584. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Dr. Ted Marcus, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 15:51, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Catalyst-Benjamin Cummings-Laboratory Chemistry[edit]

Hello Katieh5584. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Catalyst-Benjamin Cummings-Laboratory Chemistry to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 15:57, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Latavio[edit]

I noticed that you were reverting the removal of the PROD from Latavio. You did so by saying that the person was removing an AfD template. However, WP:PROD and WP:AfD are two different processes. By definition, any editor, even the creator of a page, may remove a PROD for any reason or even no reason at all. AfD discussion templates cannot be removed, but that was not the template found on that page. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:20, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nathaniel Hitch[edit]

Oh dear! This is like a ball which keeps coming back.

A few days ago I accidentally pressed the wrong button. I am in the middle of writing an article on Nathaniel Hitch but that is a long way from being finished. I should have been using "sandbox" but was not and pressed the save button in error.

Gurt Posh the administrator was very helpful and removed the article. Great relief! However yesterday I advised Gurt that it was still popping up and this evening thought I would at least remove the text.

I did so but along came Katieh5584 on a white charger, undoubtedly intending to help and rescue the article.

Truth is that I do not want it resurrected. In a few months when I have finished the article to my satisfaction I shall load it again.

I hope that you now understand the situation and will allow the patient to pass away!

Many thanks

John Boudreau[edit]

Hi Katie,

I am all for fighting the good fight and keeping spam off of Wikipedia, so can you please work with me to create a better page for John Boudreau. His page was one of my first and I am trying to follow best practices for Wikipedia.I am working on pages that will help to tell the story of Astonish Results, as I am a freelance business writer from RI working on this project. Astonish has been named the largest growing company in RI for 2 consecutive years and I want to tell their story. The culture they have created is very interesting and the story behind how the business started is also very interesting. I do not want my page to be deleted so, could you please help? Thank you! Edmonds–Karp algorithm reverts[edit]

This is a WP:3rr warning for Edmonds–Karp algorithm. I also find it disturbing that you have labeled the other editor's efforts as vandalism. Glrx (talk) 20:34, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I thought it was vandalism as the sentence no longer made any sense. --Katieh5584 (talk) 20:40, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I read his edits as covering the case where there is not a unique path: consider a network with two paths of equal length and equal capacity. The that/which is an English grammar issue. Glrx (talk) 20:45, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My 'unconstructive' edit[edit]

Ketamine[edit]

Wow, you are fast. This edit is not unconstructive but directly to the point, from the reference! It is an experiment on Xenopus oocytes, this are frog eggs, which are being used for such experiments. Can't you read the reference first before deleting? 70.137.133.47 (talk) 21:41, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I missed the reference. I'll remove the warning from your talk page. --Katieh5584 (talk) 21:42, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

See link inserted above, it is a common model organism, because these frog egg cells are large and easily manipulated and probed. Read it. What was so strange about it, that it appeared as vandalism? Why does that happen to me so often? 70.137.133.47 (talk) 22:44, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know, I removed your "warning 1" and replaced it with a second block (I assume Huggle did it's "back to No.1" when a few days has gone past). 3RR on Noelia ‎[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Noelia. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 20:45, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello[edit]

Hello Katieh5584. I am from mongolia. The part that you want to keep is very speculative in nature. Mongolian people used to live in small yurts in big families thus it was common for males to sleep together. I am not homophobic, but this entry is doesn't meet the encyclopedic standards.

Dawn French[edit]

I recently made amendments to Dawn French's wikipage and you found my changes to be vandalous. This is absurd.

Dawn French's face has been a Terrys chocolate orange since 1997 and made the "Its not terrys, its mine" catch phrase famous. However in 2007, she was dropped from promoting the product. Terry's marketing manager Stephanie Lea saying: "We are grateful to Dawn for the major impact she has had on our advertising and for the value that she has added over the last 10 years." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.221.53.36 (talk) 20:40, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
