Speedy deletion of Jungle Wonder[edit]

A tag has been placed on Jungle Wonder requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Ged UK (talk) 18:58, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:North pole.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:North pole.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:06, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request[edit]

When updating the 2009 Philadelphia Phillies season game log, please update all relevant sections, including records against, and the monthly summary if you're able. The plan is for this article to eventually go to GA and it's extremely difficult to have to go back and reconcile everything at the All-Star break. Thanks. KV5 (TalkPhils) 11:46, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As per the above, please update the records against table when adding game results to the game log. Thank you. KV5 (TalkPhils) 12:16, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've requested twice previously that you update all records when updating the game log. Updating one part and not the other makes the article wildly inaccurate and it's extremely hard to keep track of what's fixed and what's not if it's not done all at once. KV5 (TalkPhils) 12:54, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For game logs and other baseball scores, please use an en-dash for won-lost records (team and individual) and box scores. Thanks. KV5 (TalkPhils) 00:24, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As I reminded you last season, please utilize en-dashes when updating box scores for baseball game logs, records against, and other scores. Thank you. KV5 (TalkPhils) 20:35, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Minor Barnstar
Thanks for updating all the stats on 2010 Philadelphia Phillies season today! KV5 (TalkPhils) 22:21, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just a reminder: games scores and win-loss records in baseball game logs get en-dashes, not hyphens. Please make sure to update these properly. — KV5Talk • 23:24, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This edit is an example of what I'm talking about with dashes. All of those hyphens should be en-dashes. It's contrary to MOS:DASH to use hyphens. Please use en-dashes. — KV5Talk • 22:23, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

January 2011[edit]

File copyright problem with File:Life Cars.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Life Cars.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:00, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Big shrimpin.jpg[edit]

⚠

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

File permission problem with File:Mosermosermosermoser.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mosermosermosermoser.jpg, which you've attributed to A VRT notice was applied over 60 day(s) ago, but no message at VRTS has been found since this tag was applied.. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones  (Talk) 19:45, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
