Orphaned non-free media (Image:Firuru.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Firuru.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:23, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Asklepios (manga)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Asklepios (manga), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No assertion of notability. Author also appears to be non-notable.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. January 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Talk:Asklepios (manga)‎. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 18:56, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Tōru Uchimizu[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tōru Uchimizu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 19:01, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Talk:Asklepios (manga). Thank you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 15:38, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For the last time, stop with the personal attacks, stop with the bad faith assumptions, and stop acting like some victim being harassed. The article is NOT notable, period. I could care less about you or who created it, it is an unnotable article that doesn't need to be here. Being well written is irrelevant, its an unnotable series by an unnotable author. Read the many guidelines and policies I've repeatedly pointed out to you, and drop the melodramatic declarations that I am somehow out to get you or enjoying your outbursts. They are childish and annoying, nothing more. At least you acknowledge that you should know those guidelines and policies, so why not actually go learn them and follow them. As for the claims that you are improving the articles, sorry, but sticking in more plot summary is NOT an improvement, nor is your personal opinion attempting to summarize the motivations and actions of the characters beyond what is explicitly stated (that whole WP:OR page I pointed you to repeatedly). You might also want to try reading that line that appears below all edit boxes a few times If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed for profit by others, do not submit it.-- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 16:11, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What personal attacks? You're attacking me with your condescending tone of rules and regulations. YOU get over YOURSELF. Leave my article alone. Maybe find yourself something else to do. Kangarugh22 (talk) 16:19, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the thing, it is NOT YOUR ARTICLE. Go read WP:OWN. You don't own anything here, nor do you get to tell others to leave it alone. And you are the one making personal attacks on the article talk page and in the AfD. Again, try reading that WP:CIVIL policy I have repeatedly pointed you to before you end up getting blocked for your bad behavior. And sorry if you don't like it but yes, Wikipedia does have policies and guidelines which are *gasp* enforced! If you don't want to abide by them, I suggest you to go a different site because such an attitude will not get you far here. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 16:27, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've never had any "bad" behavior until you wanted to delete this article more than anything in the world.
Do you have a real job? Kangarugh22 (talk) 16:55, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I do not "want to delete this article more than anything in the world." That would be beyond silly. I nominated it for deletion as it could not be shown to be notable, failing Wikipedia's guidelines for existing. Thus far no one has agreed with you that it should be kept (which should actualyl tell you something, but apparently does not). And yes, I have a real job, well paid one too. Doesn't have anything do with this, however. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 17:51, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiquette alert[edit]

I have filed a Wikiquette alert at Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts#User:Kangarugh22 over your recent accusations of bad faith towards Collectonian (talk · contribs). Hopefully, other editors will step in and help calm the situation. --Farix (Talk) 21:10, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
