If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sufi Journal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The page Sufi Journal has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which is unlikely to be suitable for an article (or at best would need a fundamental rewrite). Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Sufi Journal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Sufi Journal and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Peridon (talk) 17:24, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Page deleted - if you need to have a copy then use notepad or similar on your own PC, and only copy here where if does not resemble the web page.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 02:33, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sufi Journal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Crusio (talk) 09:40, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Alireza Nurbakhsh[edit]

Hello Kamrang,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Alireza Nurbakhsh for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hi, I was just starting on that page. That was just a place holder for me to start collecting and write it in my own word with references which I am almost done but the page is gone!!!! Kamrang (talk) 22:24, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kamrang, for deleted pages you may contact the administrator that deleted the page - see page logs here, please bear in mind that when you publish a page, whether you are finished compiling it or not, it goes live on Wikipedia and is subject to review for potential problems such as copyright. To avoid having unfinished pages deleted please make use the Draft space but bear in mind that even in draft, copyright violations would be liable to deleted. Thank you for your contributions Josey Wales Parley 22:39, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Josey, I should have compiled my information before starting. Kind of got excited and jumped into it. I re-did the page in my own words and references I found online, Please check and would appreciate your guidance. Kamrang (talk) 23:46, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It still shows similarity to this page see copvio report here Josey Wales Parley 09:17, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I am Diannaa and I am a Wikipedia administrator. I have cleaned the article. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the copyright policy of this website to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. The Wikipedia copyright policy and its application are complex matters, so you should take the time to read and understand our copyright policy. There's a simplified version of our copyright rules at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. — Diannaa (talk) 14:40, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Diannaa , I did not copy!!! I googled and read several sites and re-wrote it in my own words and included the reference to those sites. Of course the content is the same I am not making it up. Could you tell me which part was a copy and guide me on how to write it so its not considered copying? Kamrang (talk) 20:51, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I found the content at https://www.nimatullahi.org/our-order/dr-alireza-nurbakhsh/. I had to remove two whole paragraphs. Here is a link to the CopyPatrol report. Click on the iThenticate link to view what was found by the detection service.
How to write for Wikipedia: Content has to be written in your own words and not include any wording from the source material. One thing I find that works for me is to read over the source material and then pretend I am verbally describing the topic to a friend in my own words. Stuff should also be presented in a different order where possible. Summarize rather than paraphrase. This will typically result in your version being much shorter than the source document. There's some reading material on this topic at Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing and/or have a look at the material at Paraphrase: Write It in Your Own Words. Check out the links in the menu on the left for some exercises to try. Or study this module aimed at WikiEd students. — Diannaa (talk) 22:29, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Will do. The CopyPatrol was for another arcticle. If you have one for Alireza Nurbakhs please forward it. Kamrang (talk) 02:07, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
