Danish football[edit]

Hi, and thanks for making articles about Danish footballers. Such articles are appreciated. Don't forget to add them to their proper category (for instance: Lars Jacobsen belongs in the category "Danish footballers", and to add him just insert the following text to the article:

[[Category:Danish footballers|Jacobsen, Lars]]

As for Jacobsen, I have added him to the category already. Don't hesitate to ask me if you have questions. Punkmorten 20:20, 8 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please use the edit-sumary field![edit]

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Shanes 11:20, 18 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image uploads[edit]

Image:Billund Airport Logo.gif Image:Copenhagen Airport Logo.gif Image:Copenhagen Airport.gif Hi! Whenever you submit an image to Wikipedia you must provide both source and license information as per the instructions on the upload page. If you fail to do so your images may be deleted right away. Since you didn't provide this in your recent airport logo images, I went ahead and added {{logo}}. However, it would be really great if you went back and added information about the source of the logos (what site? etc)... Thanks. --Gmaxwell 12:50, 18 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

New Danish municipalities[edit]

Please do not create new municipality names such as Frederikshavn --> New Frederikshavn. The official name after the Jan. 1, 2007 will still be Frederikshavn municipality, and NOT New Frederikshavn. I have already created all the new municipality names. This will save a lot of reversions. When the new merged municipality name is the same as the old one, it will simply entail an update of information in the existing article. Thanks. --SFDan 20:39, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You might find this discussion interesting. Also, you can find all the "new" muncipality names (in other words different than old municipaltiy names) at Category:Future municipalities of Denmark. --SFDan 20:53, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

New variations on Danish municipality names[edit]

I have reverted your changes to the following articles: Sæby, Frederikshavn, Skagen, and Region Nordjylland. Since I feel that your new article Frederikshavn (2007-) is essentially a duplicate of the subject matter and information of the Frederikshavn article, I have posted a notice on its talk page that I feel it should be deleted. There is opportunity to discuss why it should be a valid article, so if you feel it should not be deleted, please, I encourage you to write something in the near future on this subject, otherwise I will move ahead and ask for its deletion.

I have also moved a notice about non-standard naming of municipalities to Talk:Municipalities of Denmark, so that others can participate in this discussion. Until we reach a consensus, I would appreciate if you do not set up articles for municipalities using non-standard names. If you want to discuss this with me, please write to me on my talk page. Otherwise your comments would be appreciated on either or both the Talk:Frederikshavn (2007-) page and the Talk:Municipalities of Denmark page. Thanks. --SFDan 11:09, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:København H.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by going to "Your contributions" from your user page and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. Template:Danish Superliga[edit]

Hi Kalaha, I have a proposition about {{Danish Superliga}}. As it is now, with every template on Danish football included, there's a lot of unrelated links - fore example, the SønderjyskE article links to numerous Danish Superliga seasons that they never even played in, the Superliga seasons pages all link to the stadiums of the current season, Superliga team pages and the List of football clubs in Denmark link to all the competing stadiums.

I propose to arrange template usage as follows:

Furthermore, the {{Danish Superliga}} should have the {{Danish Superliga teamlist}}, {{Danish football}} and {{Danish Superliga stadiumlist}} removed, and we could make {{Danish football start}} and use it and {{end box}} before and after the various templates to allow for better usability. Poulsen 02:53, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the quick response, I'm on it now :) Notice I removed the stadium lists from superliga seasons as well, as the list is yearly specific. Poulsen 12:39, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Bosse[edit]

Tasadiha!

Poulsen 16:56, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Football AID 5 February - 11 February[edit]

Thank you for participating in the Football AID vote this week.

Bayern Munich has been selected as this week's collaboration. Please do help in working to improve it.

First and second[edit]

Apologies, I meant only to change the "First round" etc section headings.Rich Farmbrough. 16:04, 14 February 2006 (UTC) I have changed back the occurances you did not, note there is no Danish 2nd Division 2004-05. Rich Farmbrough. 16:09, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FCK Template[edit]

Poulsen 10:49, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Joda... Begge ting man sku ha tænkt over en ekstra gang før man satte i gang, og så aldrig ha gjort! :P Poulsen 11:09, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use[edit]

Do not place (football) logos in templates as this is not fair use. The logos should only be used once, on the club's main article. ed g2stalk 14:16, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

cuppen[edit]

Poulsen 14:25, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your addition of Peter Schmeichel to the Noted former players section at Manchester City F.C., and I'd like to stress that I mean no discourtesy by my reversion. The section is primarily for players who were notable as Manchester City players. Schmeichel is certainly a notable player, but he only spent one season at City at the end of his career, hence his time at City was not particularly notable. Players such as George Weah and David Seaman are excluded for similar reasons. Oldelpaso 13:18, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Poulsen 16:36, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, vi ses i 1960s engang! Poulsen 16:42, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Her kunne Denmark national football team#Most capped, Denmark national football team#Top goalscorers, Denmark national football team#Team captains, Denmark national football team managers og List of Denmark national football team results#Overall statistics samles. Poulsen 14:38, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
