Regarding your messages at the new user log, you may help start the Hausa-language Wikipedia at ha.wikipedia.org or the Yoruba-language wikipedia at yo.wikipedia.org, if you wish. (You'll have to register a separate account for each language.) For more information about starting a new Wikipedia, please see m:Help:How to start a new Wikipedia. I strongly encourage you to help out for a while on the English, French, and Spanish Wikipedias before trying to start a new language, though. Both the Hausa and Yoruba Wikipedias are very unprofessional in their current states, and they need a lot of work. If you do want to take on the task, you should try to find several other Wikipedians who are familiar with the English, French, or Spanish versions and are willing to help you develop the new languages.

You are more than welcome to help us write some of the Western-Africa articles on the English Wikipedia. In fact, you can sign up at the Africa regional notice board. There are quite a few Wikipedians over there, and some of them might speak Hausa or Yoruba. I encourage you to help out with the English Wikipedia for a few months in order to get a feel for the underlying principles that make this whole project work. Then, if you are willing to put in the effort, you should be able to tackle the enormous challenge of starting a Wikipedia in a new language.

Please remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. You can also create your own user page, which is the page that others see when they follow the link in your signature. Your user page is User:Julian-Zuzel. I'd like to welcome you to Wikipedia as well! You're right, unfortunately there is no book on "Mastering Wikipedia", the best places for newbies are the welcome and tutorial pages. Also, if you see something on an article and you want to know how it was done, best to click "Edit this page" and have a look at the code. It also appears you seemed to have some trouble creating bold and italic text. To create bold text: '''testing''' (three apostrophes on either side of the text) appears as testing, for italics: ''testing'' (two apostrophes on either side of the text) appears as testing. Welcome From QuickDraw[edit]

Hello Zik: Welcome. At this time I have only added a Civil Engineer to the list of civil engineers. His name is Hermann Schussler. I am working on his biography offline and will be adding it sometime this week (I hope). I have been browsing the engineering articles and will be editing some of the articles, but not sure which ones at this time. An easy way to see which articles a user has contributed to is to click on the "User Contributions" link located in their toolbox on their "user page" or their "discussion" page. Need help?[edit]

Hi there, I was reading your post on the new users log. Fortunately, you don't really need to know any HTML to edit Wikipedia (I for one don't know any). Like I mentioned on the earlier post, best thing to do o learn how things workd is by clicking "Edit this page" to see how the code was written. To learn how to edit, the best thing to do would be to go to your personal user page, click "Edit this page" and experiment.

I am more than willing to help you through email if you wish. To do so, go to my user page and on the left handside, in the toolbox (which is below the search box), there is an option to "email this user". You can also leave a message on my talk page, to do so, go to my talk page, click the plus sign that appears next to the "Edit this page" link. Ohh, if you leave a message on my talk page (or any other talk page for that matter), please sign your post by typing "Akamad 07:47, 15 December 2005 (UTC)" at the end, that way, I know who wrote it and when.[reply]
