Joey's Sports Blog - retrieve request[edit]

Is there away that you or I can retrive my entry so that I could improve it to meet the standards of Wikipedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jtsports92 (talkcontribs) 03:22, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It could be restored to your user space for you to work on, but I see a conflict of interest judging by your username, and that is worrisome. -- Alexf(talk) 21:56, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Joey's sports blog[edit]

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Terrillja (talk) 00:22, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

October 2008[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Joey's sports blog. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. KurtRaschke (talk) 02:07, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 02:17, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|I did not intend on any Vandalism by deleting the speedy deletion notification. I was frustrated and deleted it believing that the issue that was inciting would be dropped. I will not delete any statement that should not be deleted by creating the entire context. I apologize and did not intend for my actions to be interpreted as vandalism. If my previous comments are viewed, you will find that I am against Vandalism and I am pro-those those try to remove. Thank you for your concern.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Just don't recreate it again, please. :)

Request handled by: Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 03:36, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So if you're unblocked, you'll stop recreating that article? That was the main issue; of course, removing speedy notices is also a no-no. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 02:59, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to make a wikipedia page for the blog article since the blog is increasing in popularity and a wikipedia page would provide an explanation of the blog to upcoming readers. If possible can you please lay out the terms that I must adhere to for the blog article to be sustained. If there is a reason beyond the logic of mankind and all existence for why this article cannot exist, please state that and I will abstain from recreating the article.Jtsports92 (talk) 03:12, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Primarily, WP:WEB criteria have to be satisfied. What makes your blog more notable than the hundreds of thousands out there? Do you have any third-party sources that are reliable and can be easily verified? Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 03:23, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I will read your suggested reading and make sure that the articles adheres by the guideline. I add more third party citations, since for some reason my first two sources seem unreliable. However, I want you to be the final judge of whether or not the article is dignified. If my next version of the article is unsatisfactory, I request that you propose a set of questions (which when answered in the article) would qualify the article by your standards to be worthy of a spot on Wikipedia.Jtsports92 (talk) 03:31, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good! Thanks for being so civil, by the way; it helps a lot. :) I'll unblock you for now; however, please create the article at User:Jtsports92/Sandbox for evaluation. Thank you, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 03:35, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Joey's Sports Blog[edit]

I have nominated Joey's Sports Blog, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joey's Sports Blog. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Terrillja (talk) 19:30, 26 October 2008 (UTC) Terrillja (talk) 19:30, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed your hangon tag since hangons are for speedy deletions, not AfD nominations. --Terrillja (talk) 19:44, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was trying to help you out on the AfD by reformatting your argument and providing a direct link to the talkpage. I would recommend that you link directly to your argument on the talkpage, as I had tried to do for you. --Terrillja (talk) 19:50, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Voting Twice in an AfD[edit]

With this edit, [1] you appear to have voted twice in an AfD for an article you created. You shouldn't vote twice regardless, but if you wish to delete your own article, you can make the request yourself and avoid the AfD process. If you'd like to do this, you can do so through the CsD tag, if you'd like more information just ask. Thanks! Dayewalker (talk) 20:59, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On my user page, I have several user-boxes, but I do not like the arrangement of them. I want it so that they fill up each horizontal row instead of three on the top, one on the next row, another on the next row, and three on the final row. How can I make it so that each row is completely filled before a new row starts?--Jtsports92 (talk) 23:05, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You can also delete the article.--Jtsports92 (talk) 23:08, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RIP Joey's Sports Blog[edit]

Joey's Sports Blog or any affiliation with Joey's Sports Blog will not longer appear on Wikipedia. Under any circumstances, if there is any attempt to recreate the article or any article with any affiliation to Joey's Sports Blog, then the user who attempts to recreate the page should be suspended from Wikipedia indefinitely and the page should be nimbly deleted. The participants must wear full salsa equipment as decided upon by the salsa artist who determines the song selection. In the occurrence, the current or a former mayor of New York must be present who is accompanied by a donkey native to Mexico (the donkey must be wearing a sombrero). The proclamation shall expire if the statement above is satisfied to full terms.--Jtsports92 (talk) 23:32, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE: your article[edit]

Sorry that I didn't get a chance to look at your draft; your message totally skipped by me until I saw it just a while ago. The problem lies within the lack of sources to assert notability; if you get those, then you're free to recreate it. Please don't recreate until that happens, though. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 23:27, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help me with my user page? My question is in the section above.--Jtsports92 (talk) 23:36, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Userboxes[edit]

I am having difficult aligning my user boxes so that they fill the entire row before creating successive ones on my user page. How can I adjust the userboxes or the user page so that the box fill the entire horizontal row before creating a new one?--Jtsports92 (talk) 00:20, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Forza 3[edit]

Hello there. I removed most of the information on Forza 3 as it's still classed as rumour, even if it is likely or sourced. Once it's announced at E3 (which it should be), with decent sources, it'll all be filled back in. Thanks! Fin© 08:28, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
