Popeye.

I'm glad that you removed that price thing, I wanted to remove it too but...... GVnayR user loves to add these things. When I started that Popeye article, he wrote this ... he clearly didn't play the game at all (probably just watched few seconds of some random video) but he still likes to add fake or inaccurate stuff ... not to mention Marriage between Popeye and a baby.

And I'm only talking about Popeye's article, now imagine other articles edited by him... it's frustrating. :'( --Hydao (talk) 16:42, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

It's not only about valuing quantity over quality, there are much more, but well, what can I (we) do. Next time if someone blocks him I will not stand by his side like I did before.
It's already too much, creating Janitor Man (an article about a game that simply doesn't exist... never existed), I laughed when I saw this, people confused because of that Wiki-article, "luckily" I spotted it after three years... as I said there are much much more... but...

It's nothing personal obviously, but I'm starting to "hate" him as an Editor. He's editing since 2006, for christ sake, it's about time to improve his methods/skills... --Hydao (talk) 07:28, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Do not put unapproved or unconfirmed info into wiki pages content

Please do not post unapproved content or templates on Wikipedia, as you did to 'Gene LeBell', e.g adding the name 'Bruce Lee' into the student list under Gene LeBell.

In addition, Gene LeBell admitted he was taught and trained by Japanese Judo Instructors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IvanTillman (talkcontribs) 08:08, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Unapproved by who? You? Face it, the claim that he knew Bruce Lee has reliable sources backing it up, while your claims hold about as much water as barrel full of holes. --Jtalledo (talk) 10:24, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Please note Gene LeBell worked with Bruce Lee as one of Bruce Lee's training partners, like many others who also worked and shared knowledge with Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee never acknowledged in any event nor documental statement that he had any teacher and student relationship with Gene LeBell.

As for who's Gene LeBell's teacher, Gene LeBell admitted he had a lot of trainers who taught him different techniques in Judo, a Japanese martial art.

I don't know what's your problem. You keep posting on my talk page saying there are reliable sources which support that there was a teacher/student relationship between Bruce Lee and Gene LeBell, when in fact there are none and according to Bruce Lee's students, they were only training partners and worked with each other for a while. Bruce Lee worked with a lot of people from different background to seek what's useful to incoporate into his fighting system. They exchanged fighting techniques with each other but were neither teacher or student to one another.

On the other hand, I just sourced you a video that Gene LeBell himself speaking he had a lot of teachers who taught him different judo taechniques, but you called it an unreliable source.

If Gene LeBell's own words are unreliable, then please show me your reliable sources that could confirm both Bruce Lee and Gene LeBell have a teacher/student relationship. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IvanTillman (talkcontribs) 04:11, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

Remember that wiki is an open source for everyone to change, modify and remove contents that don't seem to be correct. If you put something there and claims it's supported by relaible sources, then be prepared to show the references supporting your claim.

During NXT Season 3, they said numerous times that they were competing to become "WWE's Breakout Diva" in like every episode. The Final Round

Hello Jtalledo. You recently edited my article about an old arcade game called The Final Round. You substituted the original introductory screen with an image of the US arcade flyer (and I noticed you did the same to other vintage video game articles) but a link to that same flyer already exists. There is no need to use that image twice. Also, you deleted the MAME emulation mention but let's remember that MAME is not 100% compatible with all ROM images, so that mention is relevant, particularly to people who played the original and those new to emulation. Please consider this criteria before making any futher edits of this type. Thank you. Beacon of Hope (talk) 02:46, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

Re:The Final Round

Hello Jtalledo. Did you read my post carefully? Did you actually take a moment to think about what I had to say? I don't think so. And I see you have already reverted my edits. By the way, you did make yourself clear. It's true the flyer better represents the in-game characters in the wrestling game but the article's name is still The Main Event and hosted at the english Wikipedia, and yet you insist on posting the wrong version. And you'd probably go on with this forever. Suit yourself. I'm not a Wikipedia expert or a master of rhetoric, but at least show some courtesy. Thanks. Beacon of Hope (talk) 03:59, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Stupid question.

Hi Jtalledo, just a question... what's that "frameless" thing? here. I noticed that x user is adding the frameless thing everywhere, what's the difference between 228px and frameless? Is that to improve the articles? --Hydao (talk) 22:01, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

Uh... lol, that's pretty insane taking into account that he is adding this on all vg-articles. Long live the frameless thing! No more comments... --Hydao (talk) 02:43, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Btw Jtalledo, please change the name of this file: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SuperAlestaJPBoxShotSNES.jpg ... thanks. It's Super Aleste and not Super AlestA, anyway... --Hydao (talk) 02:04, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Sony cleanup

Hi there, thanks for your willingness to help clean up Sony. I've already done the brunt of the underlying work - that is, simply delete poorly-sourced, non-notable material and condense the rest. I also pulled in lead paragraphs from different Sony-related articles per WP:SPLIT. I would really appreciate your help in pulling this page up to standards. The basic outline we've got right now is a strong foundation. From here, it's going to be the more subtle work of rounding out the corners and making sure we cover all notable areas. Please feel free to contribute however you want. Thanks! CaseyPenk (talk) 04:27, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Jtalledo, I'm going to remove those "hidden messages", what do you think? Anyway, the game board has a layout with nails sticking out. (sounds funny?) --Hydao (talk) 14:58, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

I improved a little. Yeah, until yesterday, the article only mentioned the Family Computer game, courtesy of GvnayR, the video game Guru. When you have some time/mood, please review that text added by him. --Hydao (talk) 10:11, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Joe Paterno

I don't want to get into an edit war over this, but once you've removed Paterno from the assertion, why should the paragraph be in the Paterno article at all? This section is supposed to be a summary of the main article, and it's already way too bloated as it is.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:57, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Jtalledo, I created this page yesterday, the title is ok, right? If something is wrong, feel free to change it. Thanks. --Hydao (talk) 15:53, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Dab; PSU

Glad to see someone else also caught by the dab patrol. Having been there myself I feel it helpful to note when the correction's been made (or, as it says, "remove the message").

On this PSU edit, you added stuff that was not in my citation. Can you add one? Thanks. If the source were to say the "fine" is a non-payment to PSU of bowl revenues and you could include that too in the article, I'd really appreciate it. Cheers. Swliv (talk) 20:15, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

Sorry on the link. Must've missed that. Thanks. Swliv (talk) 20:27, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
This feels off-protocol, but I was just doing a few "bits" on the PSU CSA page -- forget what prompted the first impulse; a reflective moment, listening to the news. I maybe then encountered a present-tense line; in any event, I searched through for "is " to clear up a few of those. In the process I came, cold, upon Maureen Dowd's "shower" lines. And I wanted to pay homage to your and my exchange over that one little step. I know you've done a lot of work on this article (entry?). I was proud to see MDowd in there today. And I appreciate your role in that -- not that I claim to know fully how it all "came down" -- what you may think of it. It's been a rather amazing, overall, unfolding process, from my vantage. So, thank you. Cheers.
ps Going back to get the second link, there, I had the further feeling, when the entry came up again for me, of being proud of it all. Ahh. Another angle on it all. I'm enamored, often, hopefully sensibly mostly, of the Page view statistics. And the result for yesterday had, for me, two revelations. The first was two-part. First I saw "45,000 for the month" and I downgraded my estimate from 12,000 to 8,000 for yesterday. Then I saw 36,000 (!) for yesterday and only a few days, apparently, of results. It took a few moments to remember that the page name had been changed (the second revelation). Now (after some more prowling) I can report a couple more insights. The old page name (impeccably (OK; homage to User:Histopher Critchens, too; he did it all; well, he did the whole move and redirect -- I've only just now (yet later) encountered all the hard work done prior to HC; none of which I've even read; well, on)) still exists as a page redirect; and seeing that, its "top" day in the last 90 days was 25,000 (when it was still the page); and, maybe most touchingly, yesterday, that page saw 8,000 hits. In other words, all the work over the many months has at least seen [attention] (and given) so much. I'm humbled. Cheers, again.
pps Pride before fall? Mm. ... Well, if fall I must .... ... Maybe humility will help. It's in there honestly, for sure, too. All best. Swliv (talk) 13:42, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your message.

Regarding your message about my correcting wikilinks. I shall just focus on correcting misspelled words and names and grammar errors instead of also focusing on correcting wikilinks. One question for you since I see that you have a bit of experience editing tech related articles: Since the official Sony way of spelling PlayStation and the way all the Wikipedia PlayStation related articles' titles have it spelled is with a capital P and and a capital S, then would it be acceptable to correct any spellings of "Playstation" to "PlayStation" where I find it in Wikipedia. I want to try to help improve Wikipedia when it comes to tech article by making product names, etc be spelled correctly. Apologies for the run-on sentence above. Thanks. Orphaned non-free media (File:Apf-m1000 games.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Apf-m1000 games.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:01, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

Jtalledo, when you have time, can you review or organize the text from this article and see if it makes sense? I removed some info GVnayR added yesterday but anyway... Most of the time he "scares me" because he adds text about a game he didn't play at all, all he does is using google translate to translate texts from random Japanese sites, view 2 or 3 screenshots and interpret by himself, and watch few seconds of a YouTube video. But the info he added today seems ok, I guess, heh. --Hydao (talk) 05:39, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

Wayback links

Thank you for taking care of dead links in Wii! For the future, do note that citation templates such as {{cite web}} directly include support for an archived version via the parameters |archiveurl= and |archivedate=, so edits like these would normally be done like this instead. Hey Jtalledo, how are you? Hope everything is fine. :) Anyway, I created this article Final Match Tennis few hours ago... when you have time, please take a look. The text needs to be improved, your help will be very useful! This is probably the best tennis game ever, don't know why no one created the English Wiki article before heh...
