administrator?

Hi Jtalledo, what's up? Now that finals are over and I have time to burn on Wikipedia, I got to thinking that you might be a good administrator candidate. You've been here for awhile, you've got a bunch of edits, you're polite, you do lots of anti-vandalism, and you're pretty good with edit summaries. If I nominate you, would you accept? --Spangineeres (háblame) 04:02, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

FYI, I've started up the wikiproject again. It seems like there are more people floating around that would be interested in helping us out, so maybe it'll generate more interest this time around. —Spangineer[es] (háblame) 02:11, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Rise of the Dragon

Hi... I saw that you mention that RotD has 3 arcade sections, instead of two. I have played it a lot of times and I have several walkthroughs and I don't rememebr three platform sections (I remember an additional optoinal one with the gun and the target but it's not actually platform, or arcade). I changed it back to two until we solve this. Pictureuploader 06:30, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

OK, I put a reference to that

Hello Jtalledo, Just wondering why you replaced Image:Ballerina-icon.png with a different image. The one that was there was fine, was it not? Thanks. --Fang Aili talk 14:28, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. The problem was that the new image didn't work for several templates that are on a large number of pages. Someone else has reverted it to the original image. --Fang Aili talk 20:24, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Good article nomination

Thanks still for contributing to the article. It is still a helpful article in its own way - it just doesn't meet the criteria for being listed as a good article at this point in time. Cedars 14:14, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi Jtalledo. About that message you left me about not deleting non-harasssing messages. The message on my page that was removed said that I was stupid, which violates my message rules. So it was a harassing message, & I remove messages of that nature from my Talk Page. Just thought I'd clear that up. --StitchPedia 16:11, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Michelle McCool

Ok but the wrestling facts i did change it b/c there is no need to put when Michelle did does moves simply is just a list of moves she has did. also i added a trivia section since all the wrestlers pages have a trivia section so that is y i change the Wrestling Facts to Signature Moves

Nittwits

I'm not sure—the primary problem with the Lion Ambassadors is that they haven't received any real media coverage (at least, that I'm aware of). On the other hand, it appears that the Nittwits have at least been covered a little bit in the media. The fact that the president won a national ESPN award might mean that it gets more supporters. Let me know if/when you afd it and I'll ask some of the people involved in the Lion Ambassador decision what they think as well. --Spangineer[es] (háblame) 17:31, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Ric Flair

On the Ric Flair page it says on July 8th he was introduced as a member of DX for one night only. The previous night in Barrie, Ontario is where he made his first appearance as a member of DX when he teamed up to face the Spirit Squad while teaming with Triple H. Flair came out in DX gear to DX music with DX taunts and told the fans "If you're not down with DX then I've got two words for you...Suck It!" I cant edit the DX page for some reason so I thought Id let someone know that has edited the page recently. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Scottcostello (talkcontribs)

Melina Perez

I do not appreciate you deleting the sentence about Melina's wrestling since she has come to RAW. It is not my point of view, as it is very clear and many other people including J.R have commented on this.[1]. I was having trouble with another person who thinks that it is not notable to mention that Melina pinned the six-time WWE Women's Champion--obviously the biggest win of her wrestling career?!?! I do agree with the premise that week-by-week information shouldn't be put up, but I think it is going to the extreme when there are things that are vital in a person's wrestling career and they are not added, just because they happened recently. There is nothing wrong with the statement because there is evidence to back it up. Thanks for your cooperation.---Fr3nZi3 21:19, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Fair enough! Thanks for the cooperation. --Fr3nZi3 21:34, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

About Michelle McCool

this isn't week by week events these are major events that happen to Michelle McCool while being a Smackdown! diva.

About Michelle

I put that she got in a catfight cause the rest of the smackdown divas has that and that ain't a week-by-week event, so i am going to put it back. The article was fined until u came and started making changes, if there's a match and the GAB i'll put that catfight led to a match between them at GAB so just leave it like that.

user:JustMaria

It's not a week-by-week event!

that happen one month after she debuted so it's not a week-by-week event!!!

Queens - Current in the news section

Just curious, is there a problem with having a Current in the news section for Queens? I was looking for facts about the Queens power outage, so I looked up Queens. But the page doesn't mention anything about it. I later found the ConEdison page which does talk about the power outage, so I added a section for Queens with a link back to ConEdison, for the folks following in my steps, which you subsequently deleted. In any case, the power outage is now a historical event, and *should* be included in the Queens page.

WrestleMania X8

Could you please help summarize this [2]? I keep telling him it's full of grammar errors, weasel words, and peacock terms, yet he still keeps adding it. If you could help me summarize the match to be consistent with other matches in the article I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.--3bulletproof16 21:41, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

TheTruth2 has been reported. If you would like to leave a comment concerning the situation please do so here. I noticed you are pretty knowledgeable in wrestling, so I asked here instead of making a new topic at pro wrestling talk. The issue is, McPhail thinks Christy winning the Diva Search shouldn't be listed under championships and accomplishments, but I think it should. He says it's in the article, but the fact of the matter is... ALMOST ALL accomplishments are listed twice for wrestlers: in the article and the c+a section as well. RE: Replacing links isn't very nice

Sorry. The last time I edited the page I simply added the Gilmore Girls Podcast. It was remove on the grounds that only one "fansite" is allowed as an external link. I don't consider the Podcast a fansite, it is a completely different medium. Is there any way both can exist in the external links section? Thanks, 69.245.179.6 01:34, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I am new to wikipedia and appreciate any advice if I'm not understanding policy and procedure correctly. Originally I was concerned that the Marc Morrone article didn't accurately reflect the criticisms of Marrone's position. Of greater concern, though, is whether Morrone is non-notable. The need to flesh out the article with the names of his pets suggests a vanity article, and it's unlikely he meets the 100 year test. Should the article be nominated for deletion?

--Frondelet 21:53, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Kayfabe

Indeed, the sheer number of votes would have lead to keeping the template. However, I took several things into consideration, including both the quality of votes in terms of their reasoning, as well as the fact that a template (any number of cleanup templates) could have been used in the kayfabe template's absence. If you must know, I do not count votes, but rather, award points based on each vote. I won't go into my scoring system, but basically, well-reasoned votes earn more points, and poorly reasoned votes earn few or no points. The final "score" was such that I decided the template should be deleted. I hope this is satisfactory, but if you would really like, I could go through a vote by vote scoring breakdown :) . Unity08 Interest?

Hi! You're one of about a dozen wikipedians who have edited Unity08 (which puts you in pretty rarified company :-)) and it occured to me that you might be interested in something in that vein. I don't want to clutter up your talk page but I wanted to let you know about my user page being used to talk about the intersection of wikis and the Unity Movement. Sorry to be a bother, but "a dozen out of hundreds of millions" seemed like a small enough group to think there might be some common interests :-)

Botch

I think that Owen Hart's death should be referenced as an example of a botch that results in death. Owen Hart was more well known than the Brian Ong incident, and if nothing else, maybe it should replace the Brian Ong incident altogether. vDub 11:01, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Floral Park

Please do not tell me what you think nonsense is. You do not know what Floral Park is like. What I put in Floral Park's article is completely true, and anyone who knows the towns will agree. It IS a little box that knows nothing. So don't tell me I'm adding nonsense, it's just harsh truth.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bettyjones (talkcontribs) .

It's too bad you feel that way you do, but your edits were clearly not constructive. Wikipedia isn't the place to state your own personal opinions or make known your insensitivity towards your fellow man. See WP:NPOV. Thank you. --Jtalledo (talk) 02:07, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Everyone in and around Floral Park knows it, so don't you go assuming I'm just putting up anything I feel like. What do you care anyway?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bettyjones (talkcontribs) .

I'm not getting upset or anything, I'm just asking a question. And I can't actually sign my comments, it freezes my computer for some odd reason.

I don't know anything about the town or the people in it, but I do know that the edit in question did not belong in the article. Essentially it said, "This town sucks.", which is clearly an opinion. --Jtalledo (talk) 11:57, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

It's not an opinion if everyone knows it's true. Get over it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bettyjones (talkcontribs) .

Your thoughts on this?

A discussion here: Talk:Survivor_Series_(2006)#Listing_the_Champions.3F needs to be clarified. The basics of it: some people don't want champions listed for tag matches and/or elimination matches that don't involve the title, while others wanted it listed. My stand on the matter is they should be listed. In a tag match or elimination match or whatever match it might be, it's obvious the title isn't on the line (unless stated in a special stipulation). There is no reason to ignore their championship status, just because the title isn't on the line. Non-title matches still list them as champions, tag matches are in theory non-title matches as well. I made this same post on the pro wrestling project talk page about it, and I'm hoping to get others to respond. RobJ1981 00:02, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
