Newyorkbrad's RfA[edit]

Thank you very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very much for your "strong, strong, strong, strong, strong, strong, strong, strong, strong support" on my RfA, which closed favorably this morning. I appreciate the !vote, the comments accompanying the vote, and especially your encouragement for me to start thinking about adminship and offer to nominate me several months ago. I appreciate the confidence the community has placed in me and am looking forward to my new responsibilities. Please let me know if ever you have any comments or suggestions, especially as I am learning how to use the tools. Best regards, Newyorkbrad 18:04, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note about your sig[edit]

Hello, I've noticed a few times that for some reason when I'm using Internet Explorer (it's a work computer) the date line in your signature tends to drift to strange and unintended places, obscuring other peoples' comments in FPC nominations. It would be good if your signature worked in all browsers, I think, so I thought I'd let you know. Cheers, have a good day (night?) Mak (talk) 15:39, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Talking on Virginia[edit]

Actually. It may intrest you (commenting on what you said at the featured picture candidates) that I'am actually not from Virginia at all. I've spent most of my life living in the United Kingdom, moving to the USA for a university issue. Retiono Virginian 15:53, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that may be so. But you're obviously not "Wallpaper Dave" from Colorado. Jorcoga (Hi!/Review)22:24, Friday, 2 February '07

My RFA[edit]

Thank You,
Jorcoga/Archive 3 for your Support!
Thank you for your support in my RfA, which closed at 111 / 1 / 2. I am humbled and rather shocked to see such kind comments and for it to reach WP:100. Please feel free to leave a note if I have made a mistake or if you need anything, I will start out slow and tackle the harder work once I get accustomed to the tools. Thank you once more, I simply cannot express in words my gratitude.

I am quite serious...[edit]

You may consider my vote as a "moral neutral", which it really is. And at the same time it's also true that I do not trust people who like cats. But it's a moral neutral. Persian Poet Gal will survive it. I hereby invite you to criticize me. Regards, —Kncyu38 (talkcontribs) 05:56, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Adminship[edit]

Hi Jorcoga, I'm rather busy and stressed IRL and need to cope with my tons of schoolwork. I'm in Grade 9 now and there's a lot of work to do. Sorry, I don't wish to run for RFA in the next few months. Maybe you could ask me again in future. Terence Ong 15:06, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfA thanks[edit]

Hi, Jorcoga, I just wanted to thank you for your support on my RfA, which was successful with a final tally of 61/0/2. I'm honored at the trust the community has placed in me and hope my conduct as an administrator will justify that trust. If you have any comments about my use of the tools I would be glad to hear from you on my talk page. Thanks again! Heimstern Läufer 08:13, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA[edit]

My request for adminship has closed successfully (79/0/1), so it appears that I am now an administrator. Thanks very much for your vote of confidence. If there's anything I can ever do to help, please don't hesitate to let me know. IrishGuy talk 01:31, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfA thanks[edit]

Thank you for supporting my RfA. It was (47/0/0) upon closure and now phase I is complete. I think the tools will aid both me and the encyclopedia. Feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, or if you think I'm misbehaving I'm always open to recall. Thanks, James086Talk 12:48, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are still listed on the Admin coaching request page[edit]

Your name is still listed at Requests for an admin coach. If you are no longer looking for a coach, or you currently have one, please remove yourself from that list.

The instructions for getting or receiving a coach have changed. It's now a self-help process: just look for a coach from the list of coaches, and contact one. See the instructions on Wikipedia:Admin coaching. Good luck.
