Revert ok by me[edit]

Hey there,

Feel free to revert my edits to Meteorite fall.

The specific rationale for the ambitious make-over was not only for ease in editing (I hadn't considered your well-reasoned points on the article's talk-page). The page is too large for my system (WebTV) to handle. In order to even read pages as big as this I must to go to the editing page and read it raw (for some reason this never causes crashes).

The half-way exception is, when an article is broken into smaller sections I can open more of the page (in the case of Meteorite fall about 40%), with an automaticly generated note at the scroll-down saying something like 'the page is too large to open entirely'. This is preferable to my system shutting off, or more commonly freezing for a few minutes, and then shutting off.

Have pity, I am not alone in this.

Thanks. Hamamelis (talk) 10:35, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(P.S. a new system is on the horizon, in about two months. Then no page should pose a problem -not for me anyway.)

Importance of observed falls[edit]

Hi! I just added the section Meteorite fall#Importance. What do you think? Can we add something else? -- Basilicofresco (msg) 11:25, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
