Pate Hole[edit]

I'm not certain I've done it accurately - what I know about it has been learned in the last 20 minutes from Google - so if you see any mistakes, do correct them. I wanted to expand it as it always annoys me when someone nominates an article for deletion within 10 minutes of it going up (except when it's blatant nonsense, advertising etc). - iridescenti (talk to me!) 19:11, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not any more as I'm way too unfit now - I used to when I was a teenager but didn't get much chance living in Norfolk - but it really annoys me when someone tries to delete something like this that patently exists so I've made more of an effort to save it than I usually would - iridescenti (talk to me!) 19:47, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Resized it and moved it to the side to save having white space around it - if you want to resize it, just change the "400" up or down. Bear in mind that anything over 800 will be too big for some people's monitors. If you haven't already, make sure you fill in the "licence agreement" bit on the "photo upload" section, otherwise it will disappear after a week (to stop people copying pictures out of magazines that they don't have the rights to) - iridescenti (talk to me!) 20:08, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to see how to do it properly, go to WP:CITE but be prepared to be bored witless. Incidentally, if you want to undo anything you (or anyone else) has done, open the article, got to "history" at the top, click on the date of the version you want to go back to and select "edit this page" - iridescenti (talk to me!) 20:38, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Pate hole[edit]

An editor has nominated Pate hole, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pate hole and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. License tagging for Image:IMG 1966.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:IMG 1966.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:07, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of The Two Farmers[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Two Farmers, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Phgao 18:29, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Fin banner1 (2).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
