Request reason:

I refuse this arguments strongly again . please prove evidence

Decline reason:

The evidence is clear if you look at the editing history of Malakadew, yourself, and other obvious sockpuppets of Malakadew. Jayron32.talk.contribs 04:08, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

i don't use tow accounts. any one can check history of my edits. This is looks like personal attack from user named HumanFrailty. because i used to make some correction this person's editorials. I invite any other administrator solve this problem.

Decline reason:

You are a blatantly obvious sockpuppet of User:Malakadew, and several other accounts. Your editing is also apparently solely directed at self-promotion. The way you are being deceptive about this and trying to use multiple accounts to evade the enforcement of Wikipedia policies is highly disruptive. You will not be unblocked and any future accounts will also be blocked, and if you become a serial vandal, it's only a matter of time before news media get a hold of this story. Notability of Nira Wickramasinghe[edit]

A tag has been placed on Nira Wickramasinghe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eeekster (talk) 10:04, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Nira Wickramasinghe[edit]

A tag has been placed on Nira Wickramasinghe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. January 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Malaka Dewapriya has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bwordpress\.com (links: http://www.kathika.wordpress.com/2009/01/23/කාලීන/#more-477).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:46, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Malaka Dewapriya[edit]

Article it self has certain problems but I see no reason as to think that he is notable to be added to the UoC list.Cossde (talk) 16:52, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He is a International Artist where graduate from university of Colombo.I notice that some name of cricket players also on the list

Thanks for listing the refs. How ever many modifications are needed in the article on Malaka Dewapriya. I must kindly remind you that this is not a personal blog or website but a encyclopedia. Therefor Malaka's achievements are grate and he is a International Artist, however the notability remains a question. Is he a household name, does the man on the street know him or his achievements ? Therefore I kindly request you to rethink adding him the UoC list of Notable Alums and wikify the article Malaka Dewapriya. Wikipedia only list people who are notable not people who want to be notable using wiki. And next time please sing your comments. Thanks Cossde (talk) 06:42, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We need reliable refs to prove that he is notable. But ask your self is he a household name? Cossde (talk) 13:45, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Shelton Payagala[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Shelton Payagala, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No non-trivial references can be found on Google.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 12:19, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are issues of notability and missing/improper sources in the material that you added. It is of dubious notability. The productions being listed are major productions. Please place discussions about editing articles on the talk pages of the articles (not on user talk page). Thank you. --NYScholar (talk) 08:42, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Malaka Dewapriya (2)[edit]

I note that you created this article as one of your first edits, and that it is a recreation of an article that was previously deleted after a discussion.

The author of that previous article was blocked from editing because of his tenditious editing, and blocked again more than once for creating new accounts to evade the block.

Your dogged determination to create and prevent the deletion of this article again must give rise to the question of whether you are the same person.

I would appreciate your comments on this point. Mayalld (talk) 19:34, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Articles[edit]

Some of your articles are getting deleted because you can't show that the person is notable. This happened to my article, Make Compatible. All I had was one paragraph to begin with an admin "proded" it because it wasn't notable software. But then someone gave more information about it; it's not going to be deleted now. And the point of view - just stay neutral. There's nothing really to it. Just don't put a voice in artices. For example, don't put "This person is a great writer." This is not a neutral point of view because it's giving YOUR opinion. Prod & CSD templates should only be removed if you have corrected it/fixed it OR if it was put there on accident, which will probably never happen to you, because I've never seen it. --Marshall T. Williams (talk) 02:41, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The "Welcome" messages above already provide links to Wikipedia editing policies; it appears that you still need to familiarize yourself with them and learn what they are before making such changes to or creating articles in Wikipedia. Your edits and reversions of already well-documented (sourced) content and already-correct format are not improving these articles or Wikipedia in general. (I am not referring to your one accurate typographical correction. I kept that one.)

Tissa Abeysekara. I can't create this article unless I have information. And the other one - I've never come accross this before, but it looks like you're going to have to cite some things so you're not copying without giving credit.
