Your message on my talk page re your MfD[edit]

Re your (unsigned) comments on my talk page, your entire edit history consists of writing articles about yourself and uploading photographs of yourself. Please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia guidelines on conflict of interest before attacking me for pointing this out. Also, there is nothing on your (autobiographical) article to indicate notability. Iridescenti 18:03, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On closer reading of your (unsigned) message on my talk page it appears you think I have MfD'd you - I would suggest you forward any discussion re this to user:Hu12, who did. No, I have not followed the links in your article and do not see any reason to. Iridescenti 18:08, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings! Your knowledge is welcome.[edit]

Hey Jim, you sound like someone who has a lot of expertise in areas where the encyclopedia could use more and better coverage. For example, we have no articles on Richard Wyckoff or his methods, or Jim Forte, and perhaps you have some additional information to add regarding George Soros, Bruce Kovner, Paul Tudor Jones, William O'Neil, and Ed Seykota. Cheers! bd2412 T 18:39, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage[edit]

I have speedy-closed the deletion nomination of your userpage as "keep" because this account was just registered today as it is permissible to begin editing with your userpage if you choose to do so. However, be aware that the page will probably be nominated for deletion again if you do not begin making substantive contributions to the encyclopedia, per the userpage policy. You might want to take a look at the discussion that took place at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Jccoppola. We look forward to your contributions. Image tagging for Image:Rdwyckoff.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rdwyckoff.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

User page[edit]

I think you were getting articles confused with user pages. Your user page with always start with "User:". --Chris Griswold () 07:06, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article James Philip Coppola III, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Specifically, I think you might want to have a read of Wikipedia:Autobiography and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. --Lijnema 12:12, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Hf aum.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Hf aum.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.--feydey 18:20, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The important thing is who has drawn the figure, You (possibly {{GFDL}} usable) or someone else (fair use image)... feydey 11:43, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your Userpage Deleted as Advertising[edit]

Your userpage is not to be used as advertising or promotion as a pseudo-article. It is available for personal information about yourself. When adding personal information please remember that Wikipedia is not MySpace. Your userpage is for anything that is compatible with the Wikipedia project. It is a mistake to think of it as a homepage: Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information. Thanks.--Hu12 01:04, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
