National Highway 142 (India) - deletion discussion
H. I've just reviewed/approved your new page on National Highway 766C (India). Thank you for that. As you obviously have far better knowledge than I do, please could I ask you to check another page which was recently put up for deletion? It's National Highway 142 (India). I can find no evidence it exists, and have supported a vote for deletion. But if you can prove us all wrong, your input would be very helpful and might save a page from being removed. - Thanks for taking time to review my new page. You are right about no evidence to suggest NH 142 exists. When this stub was created, old numbering system was followed and it is not listed in that. In new numbering system also it is not there. Under new system, it would be a spur route of NH 42 which runs through Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. State wise listing also doesn't show it. It should be deleted. If in future NH 142 comes up, it can be recreated. This doesn't even make the case for redirect like it was suggested for NH 329 deletion. Best regards. National Highways in India
Do you have a complete list of highways? I could use it to make sure we have all the route markers that we're going to need. I have been making them as you make new articles, but I was hoping that if there was a list, I could get get ahead of you. –Fredddie™ 12:15, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- I have created 125 new highway pages so far listed here. Most comprehensive record is at OpenStreetMap. Govt. official record till June 30, 2017. OSM listing is the best. Jazze7 (talk) 12:47, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
