post image source for Image:Kingsgate Huddersfield.jpg[edit]

Please post the source of Image:Kingsgate Huddersfield.jpg or let us know if you personally took the picture etc.. --Skywolf talk/contribs 20:20, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! You may find it easier to use the preview button to see how your edits look. That allows you to change your edit before saving the page. Your current editing style of one word at a time is confusing. It will also log up a large amounts of edits on your contribution log that will show up as minor edits. I have moved back to this article the details you put in the seperate article page St George's Quarter scheme and tagged the page with a proposal for deletion. Nothing against you personally, but as an encyclopedia a single line article is hardly worth keeping, especially as the details can be put on the Huddersfield page. Richard Harvey 19:05, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just as an afterthought! I have reduced the line spacing on the Development section you are doing, as it is making the page a bit messy. I understand what you are getting at with the info, but to be honest I think more senior editors may remove that section during one of the article page review copyedits. It may help if you can provide more details as a sub paragraph of each development, sufficient to warrant keeping them there. Best of luck. Richard Harvey 19:12, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

First warning[edit]

Your continuous attempts to replace the images on the Huddersfield article with copyvio images from internet sites is bordering on intentional vandalism.

You have re-uploaded images that have been deemed, by the wiki administrators, to be violations of copyright and deleted. If you continue to act in this way you may find your IP address is blocked, preventing any editing of any articles. The Huddersfield article has been placed on my watchlist for monitoring. Richard Harvey 20:41, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Second warning[edit]

Your edit here refers. Please do not remove content from Wikipedia, as you did to Huddersfield. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. BlueValour 02:24, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

Your edit here refers. As I advised above, removing useful content is vandalism.

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Huddersfield, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. BlueValour 01:06, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, James, I'm blocking you now. If you would like to help build the encyclopedia, you are welcome to return in 48 hours. When you return, do not engage in vandalism, do not insert copyrighted images that violate Wikipedia policy, cite your sources, and above all else, respect the hard work of the project's other volunteers. ×Meegs 13:17, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
