ELNO[edit]

I guess you've edited before, haven't you, given your references to WP:ELNO? Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 08:03, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I didn't get it I'm new to wikipedia.--Jagadaya (talk) 08:05, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Weller, Bbb23, Bishonen, and Vanamonde93: FYI, ELNO was referred to in the 6th edit this "newbie" made. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 08:34, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What are you talking about I can't understand, I'm a completely new user. Are saying I shouldn't make comment after editing. Please elaborate.--Jagadaya (talk) 08:44, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Jagadaya, Joshua Jonathan linked you to this edit that you made. Follow the link and look. That was your sixth edit with this account. A new user wouldn't know about the guideline ELNO, and still less about the shortcut to it. Also, your fourth edit was this, showing knowledge of the talkheader template, and your fifth was this, showing knowledge of the use of redirects. Please stop pretending you're "a completely new user", because it just makes you look ridiculous. What was your previous account? Is it blocked? Bishonen | talk 11:24, 3 November 2018 (UTC).[reply]
I'm a new user and slowly learning different Wikipedia rules Is this the way you behave with a new user ?? --Jagadaya (talk) 12:03, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
When it's a sockpuppet, yes, it is. Bishonen | talk 13:42, 3 November 2018 (UTC).[reply]
What is sockpuppet ?? Please tell me.--Jagadaya (talk) 14:08, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I thought you were keen to learn different Wikipedia rules? That's why I linked you to sock puppetry — there, I linked it again — so that you'd be able to read all about it. This page may be helpful also. Bishonen | talk 15:33, 3 November 2018 (UTC).[reply]

I rarely read talk page discussions when I review unblock requests. I come to it fresh and I read too slowly anyway. But having read this thread, yeah. I've reviewed your editing and protestations. Once one has done enough of this, one hears a tiny bell at this point of the review. Endorse block and Bish's comments.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 15:39, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A few notes[edit]

Thank you for your copyediting. Just a few notes though. Here the enry for Lakhan Gusain's book shouldn't have been removed: it appears in the "References" section, so even though it's nowhere cited inline, it's presumed it was used as a source for the article's text. Also, if even after careful investigation it turns out that it isn't, it would have then simply be moved to the "Further reading" section as it is a useful and relevant text. Also, please don't merge the "References" and "Further reading" sections in articles as it's important to keep the distinction between sources that were and sources that weren't used in the writing of the article. You might also want to avoid making statements like "X language is spoken predominanyly by the X people" unless you're absolutely sure you know what you're doing: this might seem trivial, but in the subcontinent the mapping between ethnicities and languages is usually far from straightforward. Thanks! – Uanfala (talk) 12:46, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, But Saraiki language is spoken by Saraiki people Why we need source for that. Strange.--Jagadaya (talk) 13:07, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Why am I blocked I'm a new user and haven't done any disruptive behavior slowly learning new rules in wikipedia and without any justification my account has been blocked. Please check thoroughly without jumping into conclusion. Thanks

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, I cannot unblock you at this time. As this is a checkuser and sockpuppetry block, you should review the pertinent sections of the WP:GAB.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 15:16, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

My account was blocked because Admin thinks that I'm a sockpuppetry while he can't show me prove. I challenge you show my previous user account, if you can't then this admin is violating Wikipedia guidelines.

Decline reason:

I'll show you your previous account: User:Kkm010. See also your userpage. See also this page. It doesn't look like you have read any of the information I and Dlohcierekim took the trouble to look out and link for you above, but prefer to waste the time of more and more admins. I've revoked talkpage access. See the notice below. Bishonen | talk 15:58, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
