Toe of Satan moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Toe of Satan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. @Celestina007: Oh, ok. --JTZegers (talk) 18:33, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That article...[edit]

Howdy - thought I'd drop you a note, after seeing what is growing in your sandbox. Please be aware that you are heading for a big disappointment there. There is no way that even a quarter of this material is going to stay in the article if it were to be put into mainspace (that is assuming that you are going to source everything to reliable sources before that - right?). What you are creating is a fan page, not an encyclopedic article (again, this is assuming that the person actually meets the applicable notability threshold as based on independent sources, which you did check - right?). Running gags, lists of recipes, pets, nicknames... these are trivia that Wikipedia does not deal in. Someone is going to do a fully justified hatchet job on this almost immediately once it leaves your sandbox. I'd really recommend that you orient yourself on the style and extent of existing biographical articles; otherwise you are putting in a lot of work here that will be for nothing. @Elmidae:-I am not planning on making it into an article. I was just doing it for fun while fixing ACTUAL articles, such as stubs. JTZegers (talk) 16:34, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. But be aware that using WP user space as a webhost for non-WP-related stuff is frowned upon, so you may want to make sure you have another platform to keep this. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 16:46, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Elmidae: I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine, since this won’t be an actual Wikipedia article. And also since it isn’t a web host. If you want me to delete it I will.JTZegers (talk) 16:55, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
