Talkback[edit]

Hello, JTKKavanagh. You have new messages at Malik Shabazz's talk page.
Message added 02:00, 26 August 2013 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.[reply]

Thanks for the tips.

So if I edit it and put 'the ratings for the show were 3.25 million and quote the source as Wikipedia it should be OK? Basically back up anything I write about the choir with references and sources. And not just put ME? Some of the bits were from personal experiences.

Is there anyway I can retrieve it and re edit it?

Regards

JTKKavanagh (talk) 17:31, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia itself isn't considered a reliable source. But in general, yes, if reliable sources have written about the choir and you cite those as your sources you should be fine.
Since User:Bbb23 is the administrator who deleted the article, you should ask him/her to restore the article for you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:23, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A picture is worth a thousand words[edit]

Hi John, next step is to put a picture in the article. If you could select a photograph of the choir that you have the rights to then we can get it uploaded, correctly licensed and placed in the page. Reply to this message here when you get the chance and I can talk you through the process if you would like. (This page is on my "watch list" so I am automatically notified when you, or anyone else, edits here.) Blackberry Sorbet (talkcontribs) 13:18, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. I see you have an image ready to upload but haven't decoded Wikipedia's way of getting it onto the article - no worries. Click on this link: Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard and you will see the message "Click here to Start the Upload Form." The form will then guide you through the process of uploading the chosen image from your PC to Wikipedia. Yell if you run into problems. A tag has been placed on User:JTKKavanagh/RMC first draft, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
