Claire Vredenburg Peer Review- Joan of Navarre I, page edited by Julia Khader Content comments: - The content appears relevant to the topic, as well as up-to-date. Furthermore, the page is discussing an underrepresented topic. - In this quote, sourced from the Early life section, "descendant of Joan I. was It is Joan's union" is there supposed to be a period after "was"? - Also from the Early Life section, "It is, in fact, uncertain whether she ever resided in Navarre during her childhood", I think you could take out "in fact" for a better flow. - Some corrections within this quote from the Queen of France section: "Joan was described as having been plump and plain, whereas her beautiful daughter Isabella resembled her father more in physical appearance. As regards her character, Joan was bold, courageous, and enterprising". - I suggest removing "beautiful" in front of “daughter”, as it can sound like an opinion. Or maybe saying something like "reportedly beautiful"? - In addition, "As regards her character", is it supposed to be "As regards to her character,..."? - Maybe break this quote up, "...in her name by French governors appointed first by her father-in-law..." with a comma or something. - Add "a", in this quote in the Queen of Navarre section, "Joan left a legacy as a kind, but absent, figure admired within Navarre". The content is seemingly accurate and easy to read. The sources that supplement this article are plentiful, which shows that a wide variety of research was done when researching this topic. The inclusion of the ancestry map is fantastic, and truly helps the reader gather a clearer understanding of the complex genealogy of Joan of Navarre. All in all, Julia did an incredible job in revamping the Joan I of Navarre wikipedia page, her work added upon the existing page, to create a powerhouse of a wikipedia page. Good job, Julia!
