I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Eugen Bacon, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. That's excellent, thank you. Wikipedia does have a lot of guidelines and none of us can be familiar with them all. One of the most fundamental ones has to do with conflict of interest, as described above; the reason I mentioned that is that you uploaded a photo of Eugen Bacon which you tagged as "own work", which implies that you have some kind of connection with her. Writing and editing articles here is not exactly like journalistic, academic, or creative/reflective writing, and as a new Wikipedia editor with expertise within a particular subject area it can take a little while to adjust to that, but I do hope you will stick around and help improving the coverage of (among other things) Afrofuturism/Africanfuturism in Wikipedia.
Just a comment on your edits to Afrofuturism, which were reverted. I see you asked the editor who reverted your edits, which is the ideal way of addressing it, and I won't pretend to speak for them, but I might also have removed the added names from the "Seminal Afrofuturistic works include..." paragraph in the introduction, or at least pruned the list of names a bit. The introduction should summarise the main points of the article, which means that every name discussed in the body of a relatively substantial article does not need to be listed in the lead section – and people who are not mentioned in the article body should not be added to the lead. In addition, the term "seminal" can be interpreted more or less narrowly, but it is vital that you and I as Wikipedia editors don't make that interpretation. That would be a form of original research, which is not something a Wikipedia article should include. Chip Delany and Octavia Butler are explicitly named as "seminal" and "foundational" Afrofuturist novelists in the sources supporting the last paragraph in the lead section, but those sources don't mention (for instance) Tade Thompson, Nisi Shawl or Eugen Bacon, which means that they should not be added to the paragraph unless there are additional, secondary and independent sources describing them as "seminal" – and not unless they are also discussed in the article body. My suggestion would be to work on the body of the article and develop that a bit more, instead of focusing on the intro. (You are not the only editor who has added further, unsourced names to the "Seminal Afrofuturistic works" paragraph, by the way.) Another consideration is that a list of names quickly becomes difficult to read and parse, and Wikipedia's readers are not necessarily helped by meeting an overlong list of names of writers in the introduction. Having more examples of different expressions of Afrofuturism in the lead, such as dance and collections of short fiction, is a good idea as long as they are sourced, but I'd suggest limiting the number of actual names that are listed. Thanks Bonadea. I had errors on uploading the photo to which I have permissions, and trialled options that would stop wiki returning errors. I'll see if I can update those properties. But overall, as a new content author, I got enthusiastic on wiki - it's hard to stop once you start tweaking, and especially if you're interested in a topic. Unfortunately I didn't save those updates in a word document and it would mean more work for now. So I'll pause and take a considered approach to future content updates, with thanks again.
