Personally, I have no real visual-design skill. I'm among those who have put the existing "Carpenter" userbox on their user page. This is the box:

"This user is a carpenter".

This user is a carpenter.

The problem is it shifts through a number of images, several of which are not apt. It shows a hammer, but it's a ball-peen hammer (typically a mechanic's tool, not one used real frequently by a carpenter). The better image would be a claw hammer. The box also features an image of wood mallets — and another of what appear to be carving tools, which are probably carried by a very small minority of carpenters (would only be used for artistic work or decorative touches). While a claw hammer or an electric hand-held circular saw would be more emblematic, the only tools shown that are most related to a carpenter's day are the chalk line (shown in a red casing), and the pencil. But I feel neither of those would be ideal.

I wonder if you'd be willing to make a better userbox for this hobby or profession? An appropriate image (besides a claw hammer, or electric circular saw) might be a builder's square. All these I've mentioned would be in frequent use by either a professional or amateur carpenter.

Example of one item, a circular saw: https://www.rona.ca/en/product/makita-7-1-4-in-corded-circular-saw-15-amp-motor-5800-rpm-2-1-2-in-cutting-capacity-rubberized-grip-5007n-11975178?viewStore=61740&cq_src=google_ads&cq_cmp=9873830312&cq_con=104048328447&cq_term=&cq_med=&cq_plac=&cq_net=u&cq_pos=&cq_plt=gp&&cm_mmc=paid_search-_-google-_-aw_smart_shopping_generic_allproducts-_-71700000066239892&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7JngsOOl9gIVZQp9Ch0VmgK8EAQYASABEgIw9_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
