Links[edit]

Please read Wikipedia's policy regarding external links. The link you have been adding to Single sign-on is light on content, and is essentially promotional. There is no benefit to the article from its inclusion, per the stated policy. Please do not add it again. Mindmatrix 17:20, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Now that you've been made aware of Wikipedia's policy regarding links, please note that if you conitnue to add promotional links, you will be blocked from editing, and the site may be added to the blacklist, which would prevent any links from the site being added to WP. April 2008[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Cambrasa 17:27, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Imprivata[edit]

A tag has been placed on Imprivata requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Kesac (talk) 02:21, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Imprivata[edit]

The reason the page was speedily deleted is because there was no content in the page (When you created the page Imprivata, all it had was Imprivata, Inc.). In order to avoid the article being deleted under this reason, you simply need to have enough information when you first create the article for it to qualify as a stub (usually a sentence or two will do, just enough to identify the subject of the article).

I'd also advise you to read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, as you noted that you were creating a page for a client. All articles must be written from a neutral point of view, and not be used to promote. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Kesac (talk) 02:46, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and forbidden by policies, and also violates our username policy.

However, if you feel that there has been a mistake in your blocking, please appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} on your user talk page or email the administrator who blocked you. Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Please check that your new username has not already been taken by checking this list. -- Mentifisto 16:03, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
