Hi Slade, the script will only work with the English language versions of all the projects. It would also work with any site that uses the MediaWiki software, even if they aren't owned by the Wikimedia Foundation, as long as they are in English. It wouldn't work with any foreign language sites, although it could be adapted to work with them. I'm close to getting an account on the toolserver, so when I have time I may improve it to work with other languages. Icey 23:18, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

And is Theanine the same as L-Theanine? If so, then possibly this and this would be useful to base a diagram on. Oh, I converted the Nitrous acid diagram from JPEG to SVG as well. I'm not sure about sulfatide: the article says it's a class of several compounds, but the web page has a structure for only one. L- and R- refer to chirality. In this case, L-theanine is the "normal" version and R-theanine is the "weird" backwards version that probably isn't important (although you never know). —Keenan Pepper 20:25, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Could I have a report for Philc 0780? I have to coach him according to Esperanza admin coaching program. 180px size limit

Hi Marc, there doesn't seem to be an official maximum size, so I look at the articles that the image is used in and then use the largest size that it's being displayed at. Which is usually between 180px to 300px. That way the article remains the same and the image is modified to be compliant with fair use. Win-win! Fair use of these images is for analysis on the subject in the article, so I think keeping the image the same size inside the article as outside shows that we aren't giving preference to the image being used out of context. In fact, I came upon that because of the small size of Uprising of 1953 in East Germany images, which I have reverted. My thumbnail size is at 300px in my preferences - and could be higher in the future for high res screens- and I wasn't seeing many details in those photos. I often click on the thumbnails, which are not a full reprensentation in my mind, but an invitaion to enlarge a photo, and to obtain the detail of a print. Caffein

Your pictures have h little problem. The CH3 groups on the left side of the molecules look like that CH3- and they should elook like H3C- . With ISIS its simplejust make a C and the with the left mouse button change the properties from C(hide H) to C(show H) and they are on the right spot. The CH3 on top of the molecule also suffer from the methode to type the whole CH3 group, the bond ends not at the C but between c and H3.--Stone 09:06, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Caffeine

I'm no chemist but is there any reason the lower left of Image:Caffeine.svg is H3C rather than CH3 like the other sections? -Ravedave ^{(help name my baby)} 14:38, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

The bond attaches specifically to the carbon atom of the CH_<3 group, so writing it as "H₃C" and aligned as it is makes this chemical fact clear and avoids requiring the bond to cross over the "H₃" part of the label. DMacks 16:35, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

GTA III images

Hi. In the last peer review for Grand Theft Auto III, you offered to provide specific screenshots from the game. Seeing you have a point about the article lacking in-mission screenshots, I though you would like to do the honors of taking them. Besides, someone else should provide the screenshots for now, because my version of GTA III appears to have an unusual graphical glitch that doesn't display surrounding shading (a possibly localized problem), and I have been the only uploader to provide in-game screenshots of the game.

Now, I'm having a hard time figuring out what screenshot would reflect a mission the best. I had a thought on using a collage of four screenshots to depict four portions of a typical GTA III mission, particularly the "Bomb the Base: Act II" mission, which is completely perfect for depicting the following:

• A cut scene after activating the mission trigger (8-Ball talking to the player; the player doesn't speak).
• The player driving an NPC (8-Ball) to a location (The city's harbor).
• The player aiming a sniper rifle in first-person view at a gang member (Specifically, Colombian Cartel members on the ship while 8-Ball runs into the ship to plant the explosion).
• A cut scene in the middle of the mission (The Cartel ship sinking after suffering damage from 8-Ball's bomb).
• The game displaying the money award upon completion of the mission.

Another point of concern is the issue of fair use; there are now 10 fair use images in the article; eight screenshot images (actually represented by seven images) and two box art images. I'm planning to include three different PS2 regional box arts (UK-international, Australian and German) in place of a PC UK-international version, a collage of four scenes depicting a locale in various times of the day and weather, and the aforementioned mission collage. Putting way too many images may be pushing the policy, so we should sit down and think about what images should be omitted or modified ahead of the additions. It may also be a good idea to provide low-resolution images (400px in length for each image should be enough) for the purpose of complying with fair use policy of using low-resolution but sufficiently detailed images.

Hi 25. That seems like an excellent choice of mission for demonstrating a lot of things. I remember reading/seeing somewhere that the makers were proud of that mission, because it demonstrated what GTA3 was capable of.

I've gone through Bomb da Base and taken loads of screenshots. They cover everything you asked for and a load more scenes of that mission that may be beneficial to you. You can download the screenshots. Note that the file is over 7MB in size, but I assume you have a fast connection, so that wont be a problem. Let me know if it is and I'll figure something out.

I agree with 400 pixels, so I've converted all the screenshots to 400x300 and PNG format. It sounds like the article is going to have a lot of images, so perhaps the best way to ensure we are using them fairly is to e-mail Rockstar Games. We could explain the purpose of Wikipedia and why the images are being used, along with saying they are small low resolution images. I imagine they'll be fine with that. FLCL

I was just rereading your peer review suggestions for FLCL (still not at FA but oh, how we try). I got a kick out of your request for an endspoiler template, and here's why.

I invented the endspoiler template, which I saw as a logical counterpart to the spoiler template - an assumption that would ultimately be taken up as correct. However, the endspoiler template started from very humble beginnings, and I introduced it to the world simply by sticking it in random articles, where (at first) it was often removed. In fact, I believe either the first or second article it was ever run it was FLCL - and now you see why I laugh. It's been reinserted now. -Litefantastic 20:36, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
