Based on the article this bird is not arctic but rather subarctic at best. Would u please check the other birds you tagged to ensure they are actually arctic birds. Thank you SirIsaacBrock 17:03, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

-Based on the Bald Eagle's inclusion into the Arctic Birds section, I believed we were including all birds which occur in the arctic. Looking back on it, I'd say both eagles are probably inappropriate. I'll take them both off of that list. Iancrose 20:42, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks for you input, I am not a bird expert, so your help is appreciated. I hope you keep an eye on the category with me, to ensure accuracy. Cordially SirIsaacBrock 01:11, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Zoopbase, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MER-C 07:46, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
