Reporting Vandalism

Hey,

In response to your question... Any user may remove warnings from their talk page. It is assumed that they have been read prior to removal. If they continue to vandalize after a level 4 warning, go to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism aka WP:AIV. Click edit section for User Reported, copy and paste the line...

* {{IPvandal|IP address}} brief reason for listing (keep it short) ~~~~

Insert their IP address and a reason. Acps110 (talkcontribs) 00:07, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

The IP in question was blocked by another admin, but there's some additional info on my talk. —DoRD (talk) 01:25, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Raiden (mortal Kombat)

Last time I checked, unsourced and uncofirmed, as well as "trivia-esque" information didn't belong on a wikipedia page. Since I was out of the loop for 6 years of wikipedia history and properly missed a lot of updating, do correct me. However, the information is still unsourced and unless the Duck Dodgers team confirms it, there are unlikely to be any links. Note that Timewarner took over Netherealm studios (Midway) onyl very recently, within the last year or two and that show and episode aired long before MK Vs DC even came out. Was it a cameo or a coincidence? either way its too weak a claim to remain. Factor in such things when reading pages. 94.168.119.106 (talk) 09:57, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Bruce Blakeman

There has been a lot of funny business going on with respect to this article. I have requested that checkuser investigate this for sockpuppetry. Please look at the history on the article and comment here Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/therealblakeman Lovemuffin888 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:28, 9 September 2010 (UTC).

Do me a favor?

Hey,

I see you are adding services and bolding them in NYCS station articles. Please use the form [[A (New York City Subway service)|]] in the leads of articles for functionality in Google Earth. (Note the pipe trick in that link.) Google Earth displays a pop-up bullet for each station that has coordinates defined, but can't handle any templates, {{NYCS|A}} included. Thanks, Acps110 (talkcontribs) 22:57, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Ok, so like what exactly do I use that form at, at all the lines served or what? I am confused a little bit lol, and yeah I will go back in change it once I understand whats going on.--IGeMiNix (talk) 23:00, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Instead of {{NYCS|4}}, use [[4 (New York City Subway service)|]] at every instance. Those two render the same way in final form, but Google Earth can't handle anything inside of {{ }}. Google Earth only shows the lead section, so anything after the first section header can use the template. For an example, this version of Marcy Avenue (BMT Jamaica Line). Acps110 (talkcontribs) 23:12, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Alright, got it, I will go back and change it. Some part we will have to go to the back catalog and change some of the old ones lol.--IGeMiNix (talk) 23:13, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! I have done some in the past, but I flamed out before I went back through the entire system. ;-) Acps110 (talkcontribs) 23:15, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Lol, I'll bet, It is a lot. I think I am going to stick with the 1, 2, and 3 stations first before I go and do the rest.--IGeMiNix (talk) 23:16, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for protecting my page

Rollback & Reviewer

Hey,

I see you got rollback and reviewer!!! Congratulations!!!! Use them well.

BTW, if you find the rollback button all over your watchlist a bit annoying, here's how to disable it there...

Create Special:MyPage/vector.css and insert this code...

.page-Special_Watchlist .mw-rollback-link { display: none; }

Later, Acps110 (talkcontribs) 00:47, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks man! I was surprised they even approved it as I am a pretty recent member. Huggle is really useful when it comes to fighting vandalism lol.--IGeMiNix (talk) 00:48, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Re 195.246.47.11

That was me, on a public computer. Sorry. Lockesdonkey (talk) 07:09, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

No problem, don't really remember what you did from your IP since I go through a bunch of them lol. --IGeMiNix (talk) 10:53, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I see your edit, yeah sorry, I was just going through them and wasn't sure if it was or not. I will go remove the warning now.--IGeMiNix (talk) 11:14, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Great job reverting vandalism! Your work there is much appreciated. Netalarmtalk 21:49, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks man, good job on your contributions also lol.--IGeMiNix (talk) 21:57, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Happy to help

Thanks for the note, I'm happy to help. I created a abuse report since the individual has been at it for a few days. It is a fairly narrow range of IPs and doesn't seem to have a great deal of other use, so if need be we can rangeblock the vandal. However Universities are often quick to respond to abuse of their network, so perhaps that will have better results. --TeaDrinker (talk) 01:01, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Alright thanks dude, got another of his IPs block like 10 minutes ago lol. Proxy IPs are rather bothersome.--iGeMiNix/What's up?/My Stuff 01:03, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Honestly, I think he's a student using a couple of different computers in his library/dorm. If it is an open/anon proxy, we can block the IPs indefinitely (and if it is not anon, the UNSW can take care of their errant user). I'll bet it is a kid with access to a few different computers on a network. Cheers, -TeaDrinker (talk) 01:09, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Yeah probably lol, sometimes I log on during school and the IP I am on has tons of block logs. XD But yeah, the IPs and all those things I am not particularly all that familiar with--iGeMiNix/What's up?/My Stuff 01:11, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the Barnstar - Keep up the good work yourself Vrenator (talk) 18:59, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
