Centre-du-Québec

thanks much for helping to populate the Centre-du-Québec articles... I had put a bunch of those on my todo list, but I see you've taken care of creating several of them (Nicolet, Kingsey Falls, Odanak, etc.) I'll probably be expanding them soon. also many thanks for adding the Centre-du-Québec template to the MRC articles... I didn't know it existed and thought it might have to be created. Cheers! --dragfyre 01:14, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Hello I am confused as how the towns are all in Argyll and Bute when it is under category towns in Angus? I thought Angus was northeast Scotland and Argyll and Bute southwest? Correct me if I am mistaken. James Janderson 18:21, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

My mistake, I was doing towns in Angus before that. I'll go fix that. Hello32020 18:22, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

OK but as long as you correct the Argyll articles you have already done, kind regards, James Janderson 18:27, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Administrative village

Hello. Thank you for creating new stub articles on areas of Jakarta. However, please note that an administrative village is different from a subdistrict. Some articles therefore needs to be recategorised. *drew 23:22, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

You supported Battle of Vienna, which has been selected as the Military history WikiProject's new Collaboration of the Fortnight. Please help improve this article to featured article standards. Kirill Lokshin 00:14, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

You recently created this article, and coincidentally, I was preparing to create it as well. I noticed that you stated that the eastern terminus was at SR 21, but my sources show that it terminates at SR 43 in Bedford Heights. Are my sources incorrect? Regards, Homefryes 14:37, 21 August 2006 (UTC) (P.S., please reply at my talk page. Thx!

There's some problem with the freenode IRC severs right now (you're being disconnected with the message "Killed by Idoru. (You have been temporarily blocked due to filtering problems. Apologies for the inconvenien)") - it's some sort of technical problem... Sorry. :( Maybe try joining later. —AySz88\^-^ 02:45, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

If you are serious about making such an article, it is going to require a lot of work and research. There are many websites out there that could help for such an article, but it will take time to sift through the data. There are around 15 storms since 2000 to affect the state. That's 15 in only 5 years, and you have to cover back as early as it goes. If you are not willing to do such a project, post a message on the Wikiproject either asking for help or asking for a merge/delete. Good luck! Hurricanehink (talk) 13:30, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

These comments remain the same, sorry. If you are truly serious about such a project, it is going to take a lot of time to do it. You will have to go through all of the monthly weather reviews, storm archives, and raw data reports from Hurdat to ensure accuracy. Otherwise, it is a stub article that isn't particularly useful, and could potentially be deleted. Hurricanehink (talk) 22:50, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi, you added content to 2006 Fox journalists kidnapping mentioning the interview with Greta Van Susteren[2]. However, you did not provide a source. Please provide a source or the content will be removed. Thanks, Ya ya ya ya ya ya 16:38, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

*lol* I guess I should have added a source. Though a screenshot is basically one. Transcript of interview added. Hello32020 19:40, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for providing the source. Ya ya ya ya ya ya 22:39, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Just a heads up

You shouldn't call the storms Storm #15. It can be a little confusing, especially if it changes later due to re-analysis. You should just say, A tropical storm moved through the state, not Storm #15 moved through the state. Hurricanehink (talk) 21:33, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Yea. What about including storms before 1851? There are storms before 1851 that affected Pennsylvania, yet don't have numbers. It will be a little weird to go from, "In 1751 a tropical storm was last observed in Pennsylvania" to "In 1872 Storm #2 produced heavy rainfall over the state" (examples). Having Storm #2 makes no sense in this context. This is a list of tropical cyclones to affect Pennsylvania, not which storms from which seasons affected the state. I hope you understand the difference. Hurricanehink (talk) 21:44, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
I will go looking for those later (before 1850). Records aren't as numerous. Hello32020 21:49, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Re: Neoboards image

Hello--

I was wondering what the rationale was to adding an additional Neoboard image, as there is already a board screenshot. This is not meant to be critical in any way--just the Neopets article is already really long, and the image add, while with merit, seems a bit repetitive.

--Lmblackjack21 00:45, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

What do you feel needs to be better explained in the Neoboards section? I'll try to take a crack at it! Lmblackjack21 01:06, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Cuenca

Hi, please note that Cuenca is currently a disambiguation page, which as you probably know should not be directly linked to if possible, Cuenca is currently listed on the maintenance page Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages with links/Current list due to a surge of ambiguous link partly or entirely caused by your recent additions of many stubs. For future reference, the correct link is Cuenca, Spain. Equendil Talk 14:59, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Again?

Welcome to Esperanza!

Welcome, Hello32020, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

karl rove

in regard to the deletion i made on the karl rove page, i went to that url under SEARCH COMPILATIONS called KARL ROVE SAMPLER.

the url for that link http://www.fulgeo.com/dawg/karlrove.html no longer exists, so i deleted it.

if you check the url, i think you'll see i'm right.

My RFA

Thank you, Hello32020, for voting on my RFA, which passed 95 to 1. Now that I have the mop, I hope I can live up to the standard, and be a good administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. —this is messedrocker (talk) 21:48, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

I don't understand, why did you change the Sandra Lee link?

Your misuse of the VP

You used the VP to edit my talk page, when in fact there was no legitimate reason to do so in the first place. Please refrain from the same in the future.J.R. Hercules 14:18, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Threats

You threatened to ban my IP address because I was bold in changing a biased term into a NPOV term in line with a discussion on a talk page. So, yes, I do think you made an error.

However, I doubt that matters much to you. In saying that I appreciate that I'm failing to assume good faith on your part, but then your threats failed to assume good faith on my part so that line has already been crossed.

Avraham Aharon Price

Hi, I noticed that you tagged Avraham Aharon Price as a CSD A7; thanks for your contribution. However, an assertion is made of Price's notability, namely "Canada's most influential rabbinic figures". This may not be true, and certainly this allegation is unsourced, but it is a claim of notability. If you still think the article should be deleted, please feel free to {{prod}} or tag it for AfD. Thanks again! --- Deville (Talk) 19:22, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I've removed the db tag from Trey Grayson because US state Secretaries of State are notable. User:Zoe|(talk) 21:47, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi, when you encounter an article in a foreign language, don't post a speedy delete tag on it. Instead, use the {{notenglish}} tag, and list it on the page that the tag brings up. User:Zoe|(talk) 21:54, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for finding and fixing that vandalism. z4ns4tsu\talk 20:00, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

September Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: Barnstar Brigade
Here in Wikipedia there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors!
What's New?
September elections are upon us! Anyone wishing to be a part of the Advisory Council may list themselves as a candidate from 18 September until 24 September, with the voting taking place from 25 September to 30 September. Those who wish to help with the election staff should also list themselves!
Appreciation Week, a program currently in development, now has its own subpage! Share your good ideas on how to make it awesome there!
The Esperanza front page has been redesigned! Many thanks to all who worked hard on it.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
  1. The proposals page has been updated, with some proposals being archived.
  2. Since the program in development Appretiaion week is getting lots of good ideas, it now has its own subpage.
  3. The September 2006 Council elections will open for nominations on 18 September 2006. The voting will run from 25 September 2006 until 30 September 2006. If you wish to be a candidate or a member of the elections staff, please list yourself!
  4. The new Esperanza front page design has but put up - many thanks to all who worked on it!
  5. TangoTango has written a script for a bot that will list new members of Esperanza, which will help those who welcome new Esperanzains greatly!
