License tagging for File:BPRD5 TheBlackFlame.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BPRD5 TheBlackFlame.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:06, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What do you want? Tell me how to do this and I'll do it.

More information needed about File:BPRD4 TheDead.jpg[edit]

Hello, Hellboybookkeeper!

It was really helpful of you to you to upload File:BPRD4 TheDead.jpg. However, we need to properly format the image license information in order to keep and use new images.

If you can edit the description and add one of these templates, that would be great. If you're not sure how or would like some help, please ask us at the media copyright questions page and we'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks again! --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:06, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

BPRD[edit]

Hey there Hellboy, I've redirected a few of the BPRD book articles you created recently because none of them really had any content. They were not deleted, so if you want to expand them or add sources all you hafta do is undo my edit. Cheers, Nolelover Talk·Contribs 02:53, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
Yeah, I'm working on those at the moment. Hopefully I'll get some information into them this weekend, but it's going to be a slow process. I'm still very new to Wikipedia, and all the coding stuff is very intimidating (referencing especially).
Is there an easier way to talk than this? This is just frustrating.
Hellboy Bookkeeper Talk·Contribs 15:33, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Right, I didn't think you had just abandoned them, which is why it'll be easy to get the your material back. Just make sure you add reliable, independent sources. :) If I can be of any help, let me know here or on my talk page. What do you find frustrating? Unfortunately for you I guess, talk pages (user and article) are the primary way editors talk to each other. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 13:40, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey,
OK, I don't know how to talk to people at all on Wiki. You're the only person that I seem to be able to communicate to. How does it work? How do I just send you a message? I've got people deleting stuff left and right and I can't talk to any of them, or at least not in any way that I know they're going to see. Is there a way I can mark my wiki pages as work in progress? And I really need someone to talk me through how to post up images. They keep being deleted because information is missing, but if they just asked me what information they need, I could give it to them, I just don't know what they want.
Hellboy Bookkeeper Talk

First of all, do you know how to sign your posts? It is really helpful if you do this on all talk pages so that people know who commented and when the said what they did. You can do that by adding four tildes (~~~~) to the end of your post. If you want your signature to look like what you've copied above (I can help you tweak it if you like) then copy the code [[User:Hellboybookkeeper|'''<span style="color:FireBrick;">Hellboy Bookkeeper'''</span>]] [[User talk:Hellboybookkeeper|'''<span style="color:Gold">Talk'''</span>]] into the signature box (make sure you remove all the old code first) on your preferences. Just scroll down on the first tab...it's right above the email options section. Don't forget to save. :) Now, as I said before, most communication is done on talk pages. If you have concerns about on article, you would comment on the talk page. However, if the article is small or out of the way, not many people, if any, will see your messages. In those cases, it's better to ask a user directly on their talk page. Right now for example, we're on your talk page. If you click the link in my signature that says "Talk", you will go to my talk page. If you want to talk to User:Night of the Big Wind who left a message below, you would click on the red link in his signature to go to his talk page. Does that sorta make sense? User talk pages are our email, so I hope you can get used to using them.
Now, the two images above have already been fixed by another helpful editor, so they're in no danger of deletion. What they were missing was copyright information. I can walk you through that if you like. In fact, if you ever need help, the Teahouse would be great for you. Just click the "Click here to ask a question" button at the top of the link I just gave you, enter your question (files, deletion, anything) and check back in a bit. There are lots of great helpers willing to answer any questions you might have. If there's anything else I can do, just ask :) Nolelover Talk·Contribs 14:22, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You should probably delete it. The Hellboy universe stuff is far to vast to do all on my own, and I simply don't have the time to do it properly. I think I was far too ambitious when I first began here. --Hellboybookkeeper (talk) 09:26, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
