May 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Tengku Sulaiman Shah did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Unsourced information[edit]

Do not add unsourced information as you did on Asiana Airlines. All contentious information added to Wikipedia requires a supporting source. SurferSquall (talk) 00:01, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Isabelle Belato. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Asiana Airlines, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 00:18, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tunku Puan Zanariah, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Installation. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:50, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

March 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi Heather Fix! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 11:19, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit conflict on Wikipedia[edit]

Hello. I'm MariaAmaliaduchessadiParma. You and I had the opportunity to get to know each other through the edits on Nur Diana's page.

I would like to inform you that so far I have not been offended by the comments you made after reverting my edits, because perhaps it was not your intention to offend me. But phrases like "learn English better" and "don't tell me what to call members" aren't very nice, do you think? I don't want to discuss these things, but other people could very well have taken offense and reported you to other users. I'm not the kind of person who does these things, but please don't insult other people, because that's not nice, nor is it respectful in a community like this.

Why don't you like my edits to the Sultanah of Kelantan page? Why do I tend to shorten names for this? I do this because on Wikipedia synthesis is considered the best thing. Writing "Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah" instead of "Tunku Azizah" is a bit of an exaggeration. It's not the page of the Queen of Pahang. If it was, it would have been fine, but since we're on the Queen of Kelantan page, you don't need to write the full name, it's just a waste of space. The same goes for Che Puan Sofie Louise. Why did I only write Che Puan Sofie Louise? Because writing her full name on a page that is not her is an exaggeration.

The fact that you work at the Kelantan Palace is a good thing, but that doesn't mean that it will allow you to revert other people's edits with reasons like "learn English" or "I work at the palace". That's not a good thing.

I like to contribute to Nur Diana's page, but this must be done in harmony with other users and also respecting their edits, without insulting on a personal level, which some people do not accept.

It should be remembered that the contributions I have made to his page have been made because I want it to grow and become a quality page. I did not in any way try to vandalize it.

I hope that we can find common ground in harmony without having to come into conflict. Anyway, I'm glad you contribute to the Sultanah's page too. ☺️ Cordially, MariaAmaliaduchessadiParma (talk) 07:58, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
