Possible copyright violation at your userpage[edit]

Some or all of the content appears to have been copy pasted from http://www.congregationisraelsatx.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=27 and has been removed. Please remember that you must write in your own words. We cannot copy and paste from other websites. Please read WP:COPYVIO. If I have made an error, please accept my apologies.

While it is strongly discouraged, you may create an encyclopedia article about yourself or your organization. If you think the subject is notable, prepare it via Wikipedia:Articles for creation or in your sandbox after reading WP:42 and Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Thank you. A few comments about your user page.
  • Do you intend to release the content for anyone in the world to re-use, unchanged or changed in whatever way they like, for commercial or non-commercial use, subject only to attributing the content to you? That is what you did when you posted it to Wikipedia, assuming that you really are the copyright holder, and therefore have the authority to release it. If that was not your intention, then it was a mistake posting it to Wikipedia. If, on the other hand, you did intend to release it under such broad re-use terms, you would be better off changing the copyright information on the page at http://www.congregationisraelsatx.org to make it clear that you are releasing the content, because nobody can tell that you do indeed have the authority to release the content: anyone can create an account on Wikipedia and falsely claim to own copyright that they don't own, and unfortunately many people do exactly that.
  • Whatever the copyright status of the text may be, it was unsuitable for use on Wikipedia, and probably would have been deleted fairly soon anyway. Wikipedia is not a social network site, a free web host, or a medium for publishing CVs, and the page read like use of Wikipedia for self-promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia policy.
