Greetings[edit]

It's nice that you decided to contribute to enwiki, but keep in mind that this is not Albanian Wikipedia, and you shouldn't behave like you did over there before being blocked. Të krijojmë atmosferë konstuktive.--Udha (talk) 17:11, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I will try, my English is a bit rusty after all. But I have much to learn regarding the references. Regarding Kadare: I respect your attention to his article and work, but I think it needs to simply separate a bit his work from his life on biographical terms. And try to enrich his bio with other, nonmentioned details. --S. Saiti (talk) 17:22, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry about your English, it's way better than mine. Regarding Kadare: You cannot separate Kadare's life from his work. He lived in a Stalinist dictatorship where his works had a deep impact on his life and vice versa. The fact that, right after getting blocked on Albanian Wikipedia, first thing you do is, edit articles like Trebeshina, Kadare and Hoxha - which were sensitive topics on Albanian Wikipedia too - makes me wonder about your motives here.--Udha (talk) 17:43, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's why I'm worried: you are intrinsically exploiting the article to build this life-work inseparable bynom. And how come we have a lot of books he's written and not one word regarding his political positions? For example, how did the position of deputy chairman of the Democratic Front influence his life? That is why his literary works must be separately written. You missed this in the hounding. But, based on your contributions, I can say the same thing regarding you touching every bit of the details surrounding Kadare. What is your purpose? --S. Saiti (talk) 18:04, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hounding? Do you even know what hounding is? Your edits on Ismail Kadare can be considered hounding; me taking a simple look at your recent edits after that is NOT hounding. If you think it is, then you're free to tell the admins, then we'll see who's right. For somebody who was blocked permanently for constantly breaking Wikipedia's rules, you're making bold claims my dear friend.--Udha (talk) 18:20, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That's the way you are: you take the bait and never pay attention on the plank on your own eye. :) Tung hyzmetqar --S. Saiti (talk) 18:30, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Qerim Sadiku[edit]

On 14 December 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Qerim Sadiku, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Qerim Sadiku, an Albanian Catholic saint, said "Long live Christ our King. Long live Albania!" just before his execution? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Qerim Sadiku. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Qerim Sadiku), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
