Template:G.I. Joe[edit]

Hi. Please don't add non-notable characters, such as Breaker and Dial Tone, to the template. The list is being confined to more popular characters. Thanks.--Ridge Runner (talk) 22:27, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just to clarify, I personally feel the list is a bad idea because of its highly arbitrary nature, but others have disagreed with me. This is why all additions to the list have been reverted in the last month or so - to keep the list pared down to an absolute minimum.--Ridge Runner (talk) 22:33, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I got busy and forgot to reply to you. Breaker was semi-notable in the cartoon and early comics, but was never that popular among fans. Neither Dial Tone nor Heavy Duty even had notability, let alone popularity.--Ridge Runner (talk) 16:28, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Rodimus Animated.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Rodimus Animated.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 16:28, 14 September 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 16:28, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

G.I. Joe[edit]

Hello! Welcome to wikipedia, unfortunatley I had to revert your edit to G.I. Joe as you did not add a propper refference, links to wikia do not count as reliable sources (see WP:SPS and wp:reliable sources for more information). Feel free to write here if you need further help! Best regards, Captain n00dle T/C 22:11, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Mainframe (G.I. Joe), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mainframe (G.I. Joe). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Ridernyc (talk) 03:23, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

October 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Red Star (G.I. Joe) may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • * Episode 15 General Confusion (Col. Krimov)/[[Big Ben (G.I. Joe)|Big Ben]])
  • 33 Message from the Deep (Col. Krimov) (Didn't speak, only shown)/[[Big Bear (G.I. Joe)|Big Bear]])

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 06:07, 19 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
