New accounts[edit]

See WP:User access levels#Autoconfirmed users. Usually the threshold is 4 days and 10 edits, but it can be different sometimes. Have you tried editing a semi-protected article today and not been able to do it?

In the meantime, you can also suggest edits to semi-protected articles by going to the talk page attached to the article and placing the {{editprotected}} template, along with a description of the change you're suggesting; that will alert other users to the page so that they can then make the edit for you. rʨanaɢ ^talk/_contribs 04:14, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you're having a content dispute/disagreement with someone, then you shouldn't be editing those pages anyway; please see WP:Edit warring for the guidelines about this. Instead of edit warring, you should be discussing things and trying to read a consensus. No, that would be edit warring. This is not my dispute and you can't ask other people to do your dirty work for you. Like I said, you need to start a discussion with the people you disagree with and try to reach a consensus about what to do. If that's not enough, you can always start a discussion at the article's talkpage and invite more editors than just him to participate. What you and your friends are doing is called canvassing or vote-stacking: recruiting people off-wiki to come join Wikipedia and support you in a content disagreement.
