Strawberry Blonde

You did a bang-up job with Strawberry Blonde, especially regarding the photos from the trailer (I'm going to look for that trailer on youtube in a moment). As you've probably learned, sooner or later the photo-hating vandals will come deleting but it is markedly harder for them when the shots are all obviously from a trailer. I've GOT to read that new biography of Raoul Walsh. I've loved his amazing autobiography "Each Man in His Time" for decades and I've seen many of his great films, including Regeneration, the first gangster movie, shot on location in the Bowery in 1915, the same year he played John Wilkes Booth in The Birth of a Nation for D. W. Griffith, and The Big Trail (1930), a widescreen extravaganza shot all across the West, with John Wayne in his first role, that has to be seen on a full-sized movie screen to be believed. It wasn't John Ford who discovered Wayne as a prop boy and renamed him, it was Walsh, and The Big Trail is actually a far more entertainingly innovative movie than Ford's Stagecoach. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion.
