April 2010[edit]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Labour Party (UK), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Please discuss this on the article's Talk page, as previously advised. Rodhullandemu 14:33, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Floella Benjamin. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Off2riorob (talk) 16:45, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as The Nasty Party, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. cat creation[edit]

Please stop it, you are new and your creations appear to have no support, if you continue along this path editing restrictions could follow, take your time and discuss more. Regards. Off2riorob (talk) 20:26, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Harman family, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

I have deleted this, yet again. There are several things wrong with it: (1) The term is unsourced, and even if it were, you would have to show that it is uniquely associated with the UK Conservative Party and no other; (2) it is not a neutral term (3) it is an unlikely search term for anyone seeking the article on the Conservative Party (and I notice you haven't created "The Stupid Party", which I have also seen them called - but please don't be tempted). Since you've recreated it, I've prevented its recreation by any editor other than an Admin unless you can gain consensus for it to be created. Your edits are getting disruptive, and I note that it is not just I who am losing patience with your edits. If in doubt, please ask. Rodhullandemu 19:13, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nasty Party has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NEO

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cptmurdok (talk) 17:41, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've deleted this again, for several reasons, most of which I stated above. Its worst fault was that, completely unsourced, it read as an attack page on a group of people, and individuals- this is unacceptable, per policy on biographies. More so, as we are in the run-up to a General Election, it read as soapboxing, which is equally unacceptable. I suggest that if you really think that this topic has a chance of being an acceptable article here, you recreate it in your userspace with reliable sources, before moving it into public view (which includes that of the media). I'll say this once only: if you recreate that article, or anything like it, it will be deleted and you will be blocked from editing. This is not a free speech issue; it's an issue of reliable sources, encyclopedic treatment, and neutrality, which so far I consider you to be lacking. Thanks. Rodhullandemu

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively here, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did with this edit to User talk:Rodhullandemu. You may wish to read the introduction to editing for more information about Wikipedia. Thank you. Alan (talk) 12:34, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Specifically, your username is an obviously pointed reference to Harriet Harmen so you need to find something less POV to edit under. Spartaz Humbug! 19:30, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
