License tagging for File:Harding University logo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Harding University logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:06, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} I'm a new Wikipedia user and I'm having some difficulty replacing a logo on the Harding University page. I tried to replace the old logo with a new version, however, I now realize that only an administrator can permanently delete a logo and I'm not sure how to make that request. I've uploaded the new logo I'd like to use and the appropriate copyright status (HardingUniversity_logo.svg) along with a temporary png file to replace the old logo. I'll continue to research how to make this change myself but your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Harding University 21:26, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

You didn't need to change the png version, nor add a link on the png page - just point the link on the article to the new file (I've done that for you). Now all we need is a delete request - I'll do that as well (look at the histories to see what has been done)  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:50, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
