Hi!

Hi there, and welcome to wikipedia! I hope the above template is helpful, it contains links to the most important wikipedia policies and guidelines. In response, yes you are doing an excellent job adding images to the articles, and they are much appreciated! I do hope you can continue the good work. I'd also like to point you in the direction of WP:PW, it's the pro-wrestling wikiproject here on wikipedia, which just means that a group of editors woth an interest in wrestling have a place where they can discuss articles and guidelines. Please contact me if you have any problems or questions! Thanks, and happy editing! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 23:17, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

The MMG were heel when the Front Line started. Tenay has said multiple times that they are "Front Line members in name only" (meaning that while they were members of the Front Line, they didn't act like it or help out at all). We can't speculate on whether someone is in the group or not, that would violate WP:RS. There basically has to be a source stating that someone is not a member of the Front Line anymore. TJ Spyke 21:52, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
It's hard to say which reigns TNA consider official. They haven't update their title history page since last summer. TJ Spyke 22:11, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Hoyt and Devon

I appreciate that the dimensions of the cropped photos are a little strange, but they were the best crops I could do. I don't think we should put the fans back in, it is a child, so I think it's best to err on the side of caution and not have the child in the photo. Secondly, it doesn't really matter if he changes the license now; the photo has been uploaded under the current license, and verified, so if he changes the license on flickr, it's not going to make much difference to wikipedia, as he already released the photo under the first license, allowing us to use it. Don't worry, your English is fine! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:38, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

While I appreciate that, I'd still be a little hesitiant about it. You can restore the original photo to the articles if you want, I won't revert, but I'd prefer not to do it myself. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 06:25, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

RE:TC

This is an encyclopedia and in such we don't follow TNA's nor any promotion's view on certain things. TNA does not recognize his reign, that we know of. TNA have yet to update their title history on their site since August. What happen was Young won the belt, then was stripped of the title, thus making an official reign. Young has won both the NWA and TNA Tag Titles and the TNA X. So that makes him a potential Triple Crown champion. Sorry to put it so blunt. Not in a great mood at the moment.--WillC 03:25, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Well this is still mixed. Some believe we should go by the promotion the entire time. Some believe we shouldn't. Though what is correct is to note they don't recognize it and count it as official. Like I've done in the TNA X Division Championship, List of TNA X Division Champions, and List of TNA World Tag Team Champions.--WillC 03:32, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Booker's reign is complex but did not happen. Young was called X Division Champion, and by called I mean he was recognized by TNA as champion. The statements after Final Resolution stated that Cornette stripped Young of the championship. Booker T was never recognized as champion. This was cleared up on Impact! after Victory Road, when they stated that Booker T never won the match because Sharmell was not an official referee. So Booker's reign did not happen.--WillC 12:46, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Help

Hey again. Good to hear from you. Sure, I'll through them today and make sure everything's ok. Regarding the fan, if she's alright with it, I don't think there'll be a problem with using the original. If it's a case where a cropped image would be better, like if you can see the wrestler better without the fan in the image, I think you should probably crop it. Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 13:19, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

It's not a problem. Yep, you're right. The first is Mysterio and the second is Kidman. I think the last one is Juventud Guerrera. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:19, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

FCW Photos

Is there any chance you could ask for the other Drew Galloway picture to be released? I think the one of him wearing the belt is better than him hoisting it, the background light is less bleaching of the image. A good find, I love non-WWE pics as they're a bit rarer. MCMG

Articles on stables (nWo, DX, MEM, Hardyz/Team Extreme, etc.) include singles titles, but when an article is purely on a tag team, especially on a tag team, where both wrestlers have their own articles, singles achievements shouldn't be listed. If you're going to list Shelley's X title win, why not list Sabin's X title wins? He was already tagging with Shelley on the indy circuit, when he won his latest X Division Championship. The article on is on the tag team and what they have done together as a team.TheFBH (talk) 18:57, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

I see. I may have been wrong about the norm on the site, after not seeing any singles titles on tag team articles I've been going through. I just put the X title reign back in the article.TheFBH (talk) 19:04, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

That's a lot of photos! I don't know most of them, but these are the ones I do:

Sorry, I was taken away on a suprise holiday. Do you still need me to upload some of those photos? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 15:40, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
I already started the second album - I've uploaded 5/6. I'll continue with that one if you take the first one. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 12:55, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Re: Cropping

Ok, I've uploaded most of them over the original file. I uploaded a cropped version of File:Barrett and Harris.jpg at File:Windham Rotunda.jpg. File:Nexus as Tag Team Champions.jpg was tricky, because Gabriel and Slater (the champions) aren't standing together, so I had to include Barrett in the crop, which is at File:The Nexus as Tag Team Champions.jpg. I also uploaded a different cropped version of it, with just Gabriel in it at File:Justin Gabriel Tag Team Champion.jpg. Cheers, NiciVampireHeart 15:41, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

You're welcome. :) Let me know if you need any more done. NiciVampireHeart 14:40, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Disfigured

Yeah, I don't know what's going on there. Those two are the first pics I've ever had this problem with. When you click the pictures, you see them the way I cropped them, but for some reason you can't see them that way in the article. If you're going back to the other cropped version of the Mr. Kennedy pic, you should make it wider, the "editado" version is way too thin.TheFBH (talk) 12:30, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

Questions

1.Clearly some articles just have not been updated yet. The OVW article for example lists faces and heels, which most definitely shouldn't be there. They can be freely removed and if someone starts complaining or reverting, just point them to the Project's guideline.

2.I agree that it should be at Scotty 2 Hotty. However, here you can see that not everyone agrees with that.

3.I thought that "nada" meant "nothing" in Spanish. I've read very little Spanish, but that's what I thought. TNA also seems to think that it means "nothing is impossible": http://shoptna.com/mexican-america---nada-es-imposible.aspxTheFBH (talk) 21:26, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Fortune

I think we should wait and see if Styles and Kazarian remain as a tag team after the tournament. If they do, the article should go that way, even if they don't use the Fortune name any longer.TheFBH (talk) 21:13, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Titles

FCW results seem to be pretty hard to find. Maybe you should just wait until they update their champions' page at http://www.fcwwrestling.info/champions.html. As far as ROH goes, they said that they'll make an announcement regarding the title later. They haven't vacated it yet even though King no longer works for them, so yeah, it's kinda like the Awesome Kong deal.TheFBH (talk) 20:20, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

No, I don't. I had the same problem when Aaron Stevens (wrestler) was moved without any discussion a few days ago, so I went to WP:RM/TR, wrote what had happened and requested that the article be moved back, which it was a couple of hours later.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 12:03, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Grand Slam

Hey on the FCW part I fixed it slightly so dont change it back. As for the GS a Grand Slam was originally used to describe someone who had won all available titles that why michaels was a GS but he never had to win the WWWF US Titles see how that works. But since it has more titles its only four levels. And a TC is an accomplishment in one promotion where someone wins a World, Tag and secondary title (although which ones they include are up to them) so they dont have to recognize it to say its true if they only have three titles, so the FCW is first of all a triple crown but its a Grand Slam in FCW since they won all titles available at the time thats why its that. The southern title was retired quite a while before anyone won the TC. So please dont change it backBlackDragon 22:44, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

K im glad you see why its a GS its not because its three specific titles but as for the wwe thing

  • The legal name is still World Wrestling Entertainment that is most peoples reason for changing it back so if its the legal name its good enough to add right?
  • Its just the company name not the promotion name. Kinda like if you remember how when the company was Titan Sports Inc. the promotion name was still the World Wrestling Federation and when they changed the company name to World Wrestling Federation Entertainment it was still just the WWF and its the same now.
  • And if it still wasnt the promotion name would it still be spelled across the announcers tables and would wrestlers and commentators still say it if it wasnt still the promotions name.

The Article if for promotions not the companies if it was the ECW and WCW ones would spell out WWE as well since they are now under the WWE BlackDragon 22:58, 11 October 2012 (UTC) It doesnt matter what he said to me i was talking to you. I believe All points I made a valid do you not agree BlackDragon 23:05, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

These are all facts, even the WWE page states its still world wrestling entertainment, but the company name is doing business as WWE because its shorter. And to make your point he also stated and I quote "world wrestling entertainment is the legal name" so theres that. And to your point rocks feet did hit first, Show even showed the evidence later but they cant change that and since the camera was away and rock got in first he was declared the winner. And what about my points are they not valid if so give a reason why and also you need to learn grammar and spelling and preview you words before hitting save because its a little hard to understand BlackDragon 23:15, 11 October 2012 (UTC) There happy-------------------------------------------------------------------------

For a guy with nine grammar errors and two spelling mistakes in that last "sentence" alone (which is actually three sentences smashed together), you're in no position to criticize anyone's English. InedibleHulk (talk) 08:00, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Yeah but I really dont care anymore I tried making my point, so after that I really could care less about grammar. I spell fine and have good grammar but I have better things to do than make every little thing perfect on here. And really you follow me here just to count for my errors? Get a life man, seriously BlackDragon 03:23, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

I "followed" you here because my name was in the other half of this discussion on your talk page. I figured since I was leaving a warning about the same thing, I should check it out. And I wouldn't have mentioned your awful English if you weren't being a dick to someone else about it. Consider it a lesson on manners, not grammar. InedibleHulk (talk) 04:37, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

No tag team rule?

I'm not familiar with this rule. Has it been discussed somewhere? If so, do you think you could point me to the discussion, as I'm curious about the reasoning. GaryColemanFan (talk) 01:56, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

I would like to see this rule as well, since I personally copied the idea from many other wrestling roster pages. FatallyLost (talk) 16:37, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

I still would like to see a written page, where it states as such. Going strictly by WWE, ROh, and TNA means nothing. ?You can turn on your TV every week and see what is what. Not to mention, first off, what damage is it doing by letting people know that these people are that team, or work with this person? Isn't this a site for information? With that, the smaller promotions have workers who don't have full on pages for themselves, so you can't put this information anywhere else. I have seen plenty of Japanese promotions who'll have people listed under their alliances, which is the same basic idea. If it had not had these, I may have never known who was what.

Also, I'm not trying to be a dick about it. Show me a link where this "rule" is stated. Because, as of now, all it is is you telling me I can't. It's all I want to see. Because if that's the reason, then should we not eliminate gimmick names where possible as well, as it is fabe as well?FatallyLost (talk) 10:30, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

I don't get it, but, when you say "the project" is that meant for wiki as a whole, or, jsut a group of random people who seem to choose what goes where? Even that page seemed like it was just a guy, or small group decided they didn't like it, and thus it is. Cause, I completely disagree about it "gumming up the works" Seems like one small section is akin to letting your hair grow a half inch more. But, whatever, right? FatallyLost (talk) 16:25, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Retirement

Thanks, but I'm just kinda burned out. I had 270 articles on my watchlist and it just got too difficult and time consuming to keep up with all the unsourced stuff and vandalism added to them daily. That added to the fact that I just simply don't enjoy TNA or WWE as much as I used to. From now on I'm going to keep taking care of articles mainly about Puroresu, Chikara and PWG.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 17:56, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

No Singles moves in Tag Team articles

Was there a consensus on that by the Wikiproject? I kinda disagree with this removal, because tag teams don't always beat an opponent with a double team move, in fact it is actually very common for them to win with a single move by a single wrestler (Prime Time Players: Clash of the Titus or Gut Check, Rhodes Scholars has no double team finisher, ShowMiz relied on the WMD etc) so I don't see why we should remove the singles finishing move from the articles. Signature moves, separate issue. Those can be removed. Starship.paint (talk) 08:50, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

Alright, I'll bring it up at WT:PW. Starship.paint (talk) 13:34, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

About the WWE Championship belts pictures, don't push it too far on the discussion. I'm sure you too would not want all WWE images deleted. Be careful of what you say, and at all costs don't mention other wrestling pictures. Starship.paint (talk) 13:30, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

Please understand what is on the WWE Hall of Fame here on Wikipedia, does not apply to the NWA Hall of Fame page. I am not putting WWE titles on the NWA Hall of Fame page, but the NWA titles are mentioned on the WWE page, sounds like hypocrisy to me.

I have the permission of the owners of the NWA to put all the NWA titles each member of the NWA Hall of Fame has won, not just the Board of Directors titles of the NWA World Heavyweight, NWA World Junior Heavyweight and NWA Womens Titles up until the Board of Directors took control of the NWA World Tag Team, NWA North American Heavyweight, NWA North American Tag Team and NWA National Heavyweight Titles.

If you want to go that way, all the NWA World Tag Team, US Heavyweight, World Television titles from the JCP era and others will be erased, then the only wrestlers with anything showing will be; Lou Thesz, Harley Race, Dory Funk Jr, Tommy Rich, Ric Flair, Gene Kiniski, Terry Funk, Buddy Rogers, Dan Severn, Shinya Hashimoto, Jack Brisco, Pat O'Connor, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat with the NWA World Heavyweight Title; Leilani Kai & Fabulous Moolah with the NWA World Womens titles, Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson with the NWA World Tag Team Title, and Danny Hodge & Angelo Savoldi with the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title.

All other NWA Championships are COMPANY titles and not from the NWA Board of Directors.

If you have an issue with this, lets have a little chat on the NWA Hall of Fame Facebook page.

If you feel that is the way it should be on the NWA Hall of Fame page, then I will eliminate all mentions of the NWA on the WWE Hall of Fame Page.Ericsax (talk) 14:40, 11 March 2013 (UTC)ericsax

NWA Hall of Fame Page

Please understand that how the WWE Hall of Fame page is showing is going to be different from the NWA Hall of Fame Page.

First, I have the permission from the owners of the NWA to update the NWA Hall of Fame page. I have been asked to have NWA titles only and no other company, such as WWF.

Next, If you want the NWA Hall of Fame page looking like the WWF Hall of Fame page, then all references to the NWA will be deleted by me.

All the territories of the NWA deserves to have their titles mentioned on the wrestlers that won them in the NWA Hall of Fame. The NWA not was just Jim Crockett Promotions. Areas in Canada, Texas, Southeast, Georgia, California, Hawaii, Australia, Japan, Puerto Rico, Michigan were all part of the NWA. They all deserve to have their titles represented on guys like Dusty Rhodes, who won in Hawaii, San Francisco, Detroit, Central States, Texas, Florida, Mid-Atlantic and others. Tell Sabu that his uncle does not deserve to have all his titles listed or Dustin and Cody Rhodes about their father, or go to the Funks and tell it to their face.

Here is where the title issue comes up. 1. The only titles that were controlled by the NWA Board of Directors were the NWA World Heavyweight, NWA World Junior Heavyweight and the NWA World Womens titles until 1992 with the NWA World Tag Team Title, and 1998 the with NWA Canadian Heavyweight and Tag Team, NWA North American Heavyweight & Tag Team and the NWA National Heavyweight Title

2. Prior to the Nationalization of these titles, every other NWA title was a COMPANY title. That is why there was 20 versions of the NWA World Tag Team Title, 6 versions of the NWA Southern Heavyweight Title, 9 versions of the NWA US titles, etc. The NWA World Tag Team title from the JCP era was just as much a company title as the one that was in San Francisco, Detroit, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico and others.

Now lets look at the WWE Hall of Fame page in comparison. There are NWA references made to Bobo Brazil (not just a one time NWA US Heavyweight Champ, won it 13 times in Detroit also.), Buddy Rogers, Jimmy Snuka, Killer Kowalski, Greg Valentine, Harley Race, AWA for Jesse Ventura, Mid-South for JYD, Sgt. Slaughter, WCW for Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Bob Orton Jr, Paul Orndorff, AWA for Sherri Martel, Dusty Rhodes, AWA for Curt Hennig, Peter Maivia, Ric Flair, Eddie Graham, Ricky Steamboat, Bill Watts, Koko B Ware, Ted DiBiase, AWA for Mad Dog Vachon, Bob Armstrong, the Brisco Brothers, the Funks, Von Erichs, Horsemen and Road Warriors.

IF there are that many references to the NWA on the WWE Hall of Fame Page, then the NWA will have all of their titles listed on theirs.

IF you have an issue with anything I posted, come over to the NWA Hall of Fame committee page and we can talk.

So, you have a choice, allow me to have all the NWA titles for the NWA Hall of Fame members, or the AWA, NWA, Mid-South and WCW references will be gone from the WWE Hall of Fame page. Ericsax (talk) 15:16, 11 March 2013 (UTC)ericsax

Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on The Funkadactyls .

While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and edit wars may be slow-moving, spanning weeks or months. Edit wars are not limited to 24 hours.

If you are unclear how to resolve a content dispute, please see dispute resolution. You are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus.

If you feel your edits might qualify as one of the small list of exceptions, please apply them with caution and ensure that anyone looking at your edits will come to the same conclusion. If you are uncertain, seek clarification before continuing. Quite a few editors have found themselves blocked for misunderstanding and/or misapplying these exceptions. Often times, requesting page protection or a sockppuppet investigation is a much better course of action.

Your unilateral decision that the group is not WP:Notable enough to have an article smacks of WP:OWNership of that article and is extremely disruptive. If you feel that the article does not meet the threshold for an article, you need to take it to WP:AFD where the community - not you - can decide whether it meets our criteria.

Continued edit warring or WP:OWN on The Funkadactyls or any other article may cause you to be blocked without further notice. Toddst1 (talk) 21:56, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

Layla

If Layla faces AJ Lee on RAW could I add the battle royal since that would be follow up from Layla getting screwed in the battle royal? The other 2 matches I understand. DJ8946DJ8946 (talk) 15:42, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

Why not? I don't think that random, weekly matches are notable and per WPPW we don't put them, but if Layla feuds with AJ, I think that we can put it. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 10:46, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Mexican National Welterweight Championship

That is a really good question, I cannot figure out where the numbers come from either. I will have to do the math for all reigns to see if I can figure out how that number came up. I have worked on that page off and on for years and never really noticed, good catch. MPJ -US  13:39, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Solved the problem - someone added one of El Santo's reigns with Hijo del Santo's reign by mistake. Fixed.  MPJ -US  14:31, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi HHH Pedrigree, thanks for your support on the WP:PW talk page regarding the lead of the Shield, could you mind posting your views on the Shield's talk page also? Thank you! Starship.paint (talk) 07:32, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
I don't really think the discussion is over, but your support on the talk page could certainly make it so. Now it's 2-1 without your support. 3-1 is more decisive. So please post on the talk page. Thank you! :) Starship.paint (talk) 03:16, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
Hi, you wanted my help for the "foreign" titles? Did you have an original discussion I can read? I don't really understand fully how you are combining the titles. Is it all Mexican titles in one template, all Japanese titles in one template? Starship.paint (talk)
OK, I understand now. So, you want to synchronise all the table formats is that right? So which is the "base" template we should follow? The style guide#List of Champions articles? Or any other specific page? Starship.paint (talk) 11:59, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
OK, I will try to help. However, my own time here is limited here also, so if I can help, I will only edit titles from Dragon Gate and NXT and FCW. Starship.paint (talk) 12:26, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Please add AfD tags to nominated articles

Hello. I noticed you AfD'd the Ashley Ann Vickers article, and while - even as the article creator - I understand your rationale in doing so, I do object to you not using the {{subst:afd1}} in the nominated article. It's a simple tag to add and its proper procedure. As a result, not using it comes across, IMO, as a bad-faith attempt to avoid any "keep" votes from the article creator or visitors to the article. Perhaps you didn't intend that to be the case, but I thought I would leave you this note just in case!  Mbinebri  talk ← 19:58, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Slammiversary PPV Chronology

Hello,

Can you please update all of the TNA Slammiversary PPV events chronology to reflect the correct number in each of the series? Wikipedia user Black60dragon has continued to list the incorrect chronology of the Slammiversary PPV events on all related pages. When users try to update this information with the correct chronology information he reverses those edits. Furthermore, the primary Slammiversary page located here has listed all the Slammiversary PPV events and their chronology in the series beginning with the 2005 pay-per-view, which was the first actual Slammiversary pay-per-view and the first Slammiversary pay-per-view as recognized by TNA themselves. In my opinion Black60dragon's unwillingness to comply with these edits amounts a form of vandalism on these articles as it does not reflect the true accuracy of these events. 24.148.186.110 (talk) 17:17, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Wrestling Superstars Live shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 12:34, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

Daniel Bryan

Stop icon

Please stop reverting the Daniel Bryan article, it's not necessary to list all of his independent titles in the opening of the article. The opening should just be a quick and basic overview. His WWE and ROH career is worthy of a brief run through as they are national companies. All of the information about all the titles he has won on the indy circuit are well documented in the body of the article, and in the Championships and Accomplishment section. You don't have to cram everything in in the opening (especially with spelling and sentence structure errors).

Thank you.

Hello, HHH Pedrigree. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, List of CZW alumni, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Jim Ross

Hello, with reference to the Jim Ross article, PWInsider is not the company who fired Jim Ross, therefore they are not an official source as to the reasons that Ross is no longer an employee of WWE. What they are reporting are the rumors they've heard. They even clearly state this in the opening sentence "The word making the rounds within WWE ...". They are reporting a rumor they've heard. As a general rule, Wikipedia does not report rumors.

If you think this information is somehow worthy enough to be included in Wikipedia then you need to make that case on the talk page for the Jim Ross article.

Also, the prose as you wrote it is barely legible and not appropriate for Wikipedia. It will need to be completely rewritten before being acceptable for inclusion even if the content is ever deemed acceptable.

Continuing to add this same information again will be considered disruptive and edit warring so please do not do it. Two different editors have reverted you. Take this as a sign and proof that the next step you should take is to discuss the issue with your fellow editors and achieve a consensus on how or if to incorporate that information into the article. If you have any questions or comments you can reach me on my talk page. Thanks. SQGibbon (talk) 17:59, 13 September 2013 (UTC)

Kaz and Eric

There reign as champions was official it's the same kind of situation as Daniel Bryan and the WWE Championship, I'm not sure if you know that situation but I'm hoping you do seeing as your a huge wrestling fan, they won the titles and were stripped of them the same day. Now I'm sorry I don't mean do be rude or anything but the source you used isn't up to date but Iv seen some that are http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/titles/tna/worldtagteam/ , http://www.wrestling-titles.com/us/tna/tna-t.html , http://www.cagematch.net/?id=5&nr=558 ,http://www.angelfire.com/on2/wrestlingtitles/NWATNAtag.html and http://www.solie.org/titlehistories/wttnaction.html

Those are a couple of sources that have the updated and current title information I believe there reign as champions was official as they defeated Styles, Tomko and LAX in a three way on impact I remember watching it and before the main event they were stripped of the titles because in the match it was suppose to be Eric Young and Kaz but he entered the match later on as Super Eric and because he wouldn't give his true identity they were stripped of the TNA World Tag Team Titles JMichael22 (talk) 18:31, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

Eva Marie / World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)

I looked it up about the whole World Wrestling Entertainment / WWE thing, and yes WWE still of course stands for World Wrestling Entertainment, and that WWE is just the abbreviation and a shorter way to put World Wrestling Entertainment. Even in a few interviews, Triple H, Vince McMahon, etc also still say World Wrestling Entertainment when they opened the new Performance Center — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hauntingwhisper (talkcontribs) 14:08, 10 October 2013

On the Wikipedia Talk Page? How would a wikipedia talk page defeat the CEO of the WWE Vince McMahon, who HIMSELF said that the company is WWE, BUT is also World Wrestling Entertainment. They are the same thing. Wikipedia can't say otherwise against the creator of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Hauntingwhisper (talk) 6:28, 12 October 2013

Just because you see WWE all over the page, doesn't mean that it isn't World Wrestling Entertainment anymore. W W E is STILL the abbreviation for World Wrestling Entertainment, they use WWE more because it is just shorter. And like I said, Vince still calls HIS company World Wrestling Entertainment. THEY ARE THE SAME THING!!! Now, one more time from you, I WILL ask for a block. 9:00, 12 October 2013 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hauntingwhisper (talkcontribs)

TNA World Tag Team Championship history

Hey it's me again Iv been talking to others about the Kaz and Eric Young tag team Title reign and they said it was an official reign they defeated Tomko and AJ styles and LAX but were stripped of the titles because Eric young dressed as a different character I found the official video of the title stripping I thought you should see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igYgxQ8ZfSo JMichael22 (talk) 21:04, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

That's only on Kazarians profile on Eric Youngs profile it says he is a multi-time TNA World Tag Team Champion you are the only one Iv talked to that's is saying the title reign wasn't official others say the reign is official it was on the video proof that they were stripped of the titles not Tomko and AJ Styles if there is anywhere we can get a group of people to discuss this I'd really like to finally figure it out. JMichael22 (talk) 00:09, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Okay I talked to others and they said once again that it is official in the Video Jim Cornette says I am not giving the titles back to you (AJ and Tomko) I'm stripping them of the titles (Kaz and Young) and also http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/bios/f/frankie-kazarian/ that is Kaz's Online world of wrestling Profile it says shows him being a three-time TNA World. Tag team Champion also TNA changed Kazarians profile because once before it said he held the title multi-times but changed it to Two-times that is incorrect tna messed up there own website every wrestling website has Eric young and Kaz as champions except for the one you showed me in the video I showed up you that was enough proof that they won the titles JMichael22 (talk) 00:20, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

TNA Website

TNA's website gets all there profile information for there wrestlers from the wrestlers Wikipedia pages JMichael22 (talk) 04:12, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Check the WP:PW I explained why his profile isn't up to date JMichael22 (talk) 16:56, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

I found his profile where it says he is a three-time TNA World Tag Team Champion JMichael22 (talk) 17:15, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Sure, we could get someone to do that to clear up whether it is recognized now. Still there is the question of whether or not TNA ever recognized it, which I doubt they would admit either way. Even if they don't recognize it now, they may have in the past, and if that's the case we should include it in the list just like we include List of WWE United States Champions reigns that WWE doesn't recognize and List of NWA World Heavyweight Champions reigns that weren't technically official.LM2000 (talk) 15:17, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Yea, Angle's first reign is weird. It was technically with the NWA belt, but the NWA title histories (which are dead now too, at least last I checked) didn't include him. TNA mixes the NWA title reigns, so their title history is confusing... they don't count his reign in their dead title history until Slammiversay. But then they call him an 11 or 12 time Champion, so that must mean they include either both the NWA and the first TNA reign or just one of them and his gold metal or amateur awards or something. It just doesn't make sense. His August 2008 title history says he won 2 world championships in TNA, so they probably recognized one of them at some point though.[2]
I don't think Creed counts though. His profile from August 2008 doesn't list him as a champ and he didn't win with Lethal until December 2008.[3].LM2000 (talk) 16:04, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Re: JoJo

Okay. I'll add more links that have called it a Diva Search. However, her Online World of Wrestling Profile states that "The new Divas were found via the recent Diva casting search WWE conducted several months ago across the United States." Second, JoJo's image is being used under the Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for "Fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, & research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statue that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational, or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. So as long as I, the uploader, am not attempting to use the image for my personal gain, then the image is ALLOWED by LAW to be able to appear on JoJo Offerman's wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BGCTwinsEdit (talkcontribs) 14:22, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Freebird Rule

We seem to be having a disagreement over The Freebird Rule.

Here's a long detailed piece from WWE about all the different teams over the years who have used the Freebird Rule.

You'll see among them is the Wolfpac.

Freebird Rules mean that all members of the team are champions, and any 2 can defend them.

Vjmlhds (talk) 17:06, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

What this looks like, is that while the other sources (which are a bit older) may not have counted it, in the piece provided by WWE (which was done fairly recently), they gave Syxx credit for it after the fact. At the end of the day, the WCW Tag Team Championship is WWE property, and if they say that Syxx was "Freebirded" into the title, then their word is law, since it's their title. Vjmlhds (talk) 18:30, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
WWE.com also doesn't list RVD's European title reign in the title history, but acknowledges it elsewhere (encyclopedia, video games, etc). As I said before, WWE is recognizing Syxx as being a "Freebirded" Tag Team Champion. They also don't list Dolph Ziggler as being a World Tag Team Champion in his bio, but he was "Freebirded" into them with the Spirit Squad (this is probably due to not wanting to acknowledge his past gimmick in his current character's bio). Short and sweet, If the Freebird Rule is in play, then the entire group are considered champions. Vjmlhds (talk) 19:33, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
Here's what looks like happened...WWE decided to give Waltman an (after the fact) recognition as a "Freebired" Tag Team Champion. WWE controls the history of the titles since they own them, so they can tweak however they want. They can give you and me a reign if they wanted to. So regardless of solie and the other sources, WWE is the ultimate decider since it's their belt, so if they're now giving Syxx credit for a WCW Tag Title reign that maybe before they didn't count, then who are we to argue? Their belt, their history, their rules. Vjmlhds (talk) 19:56, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

Re:Puerto Rican wrestlers

Hello, I may be able to help, but the project must be specific, since my time is limited. There is also the fact that my writing style avoids kayfabe in line with WP:WAF, which appears to be a controversial issue in these articles. I actually proposed the use of the real name in parenthesis (like this: Primo (Eddie Colón), while also trying to use a consistent name throughout the articles), a format used in the film articles, to avoid the "in-universe" template and experimented with it at Carly Colón. But the names kept being removed (There were a lot of complaints from "hardcore" fans), so the initiative was abandoned. Since then, no uniform MOS has been established. Not a single wrestling biography has been promoted to FA after the “sweep“ that introduced the new "C" class and raised the quality required for A/FA, so we have no idea how the in-universe articles would be scrutinized if they were nominated under these standards. Unless the wrestling WikiProject sets a definitive out-of-universe writing style, I will not nominate any article. I will not work for a month so that any nomination fails on that concern.

About references:

WWC is stuck in the past when it comes to promoting itself; to this day they still don't publish results on a consistent basis. That means that the only source for their results is either PRW, blogs that review their program or to painstakingly browse their official channel. Anything that precedes 2001 is going to be difficult to source, since WWC has never released anything where it summarizes its history. The series authored by Armando Rodríguez and some of the PRW interviews are useful, but there is no silver bullet. - Caribbean~H.Q. 19:15, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

- Caribbean~H.Q. 14:10, 12 December 2013 (UTC)

Authority figures

Here's an easy compromise...

In WWE, Triple H is the main authority figure, so he gets a picture. Brad Maddox, Vickie Guerrero, and Kane are all underlings/assistants, so they don't get pics.

IN TNA, Dixie Carter is the main authority, so she gets a pic. Rockstar Spud is her assistant/toady, so he doesn't get a pic.

Teddy Long, Eve Torres, Santino Marrella, and a ton of others I'm probably forgetting were all assistant GMs or whatnot, and they never got pics.

So to keep things nice and tidy, only the top storyline authority figure should have a picture.

Correction

Actually, I think you'll find that the name "The World Tag Team Champions of the World" did not come into play until AFTER their first reign. When they won the titles at Sacrifice 2012, they were referred to as simply Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. The Sacrifice 2012 article does not refer to them as "The World Tag Team Champions of the World". Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jacob Mill (talkcontribs) 01:06, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

Photos

Merry Christmas to you too. :)

I thought the pics would add a little something to the article. I made sure though that the champions I put up there had some significance to them (first champion, longest reigning champion, most reigns, current champion).

If you want to tweak it, it's no big deal to me. I just thought they'd add a little flavor to the articles.

Vjmlhds (talk) 01:27, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

The reason for 2 different articles, is because one is for the history of the title itself, and the other is a list of champions. If you tried to combine it all on to 1 page, it would be a mess. Vjmlhds (talk) 01:35, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

4 things

Happy new year. I agree about the history sections. I have no interest in working on the TNA article ('cause I don't really follow the promotion any more), but I could maybe do something about the NJPW one in the future. It's just kinda hard finding good sources on stuff. Interesting stuff on the Villanos. I always just assumed that the "ñ" was part of the name and when MPJ-DK made the move years ago he claimed that this was the official spelling, however SuperLuchas, AAA and CMLL all spell it without the wave thing above the "n" and actually all sources seem to do that. I'll move them back.リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 20:56, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Well, it seems I can't move the Villano articles myself. I'll put out a request for them.リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 21:00, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Now that the issue has been cleared up, you should go back to the source and, like Hulk did, put the exact time when this was said in the podcast, rather than having someone listen through the whole thing to verify. Antoshi 01:16, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

RE: TNA

Lets see, where do I start. List of WWE Champions, if it were to go up for featured list removal it would fail on its first day. Besides table issues, it has source issues, week-by-week, original research, etc etc etc. I may be a little rusty on the specifics, but the match types are to only be mentioned if they have a large impact on the title change. A steel cage match is rather common, but overall the gimmick makes no difference to the title match. The title still would change hands by pinfall or submission, so that is moreso trivia than importance. Meanwhile, a ladder match could have a large affect on the title change as the rules are different. No DQ matches, Steel cage matches, etc are all trivia in most cases. I wouldn't go by the WWE lists, they have so many people editing them, thus adding things, changing things, etc. Those are nowhere near what they need to be. I redid the ECW list, I wonder if it is even anywhere close to being FL status now. It comes down to notability.--WillC 13:09, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

In Universe

Wrestling is fake as you said, also known as scripted, thus it is a work of fiction. WP:IN-U is a guideline on wikipedia which says to not write things in the world of that is presented in fiction. Do not make fictional works reality. A company may recognize a title change and then all together stop recognizing it for no reason. This comes to some degree. There are parts where champions are stripped or have title reigns reversed. Reversed means they never happened. Stripped means the reign occurred but then the company chose to not recognize it anymore. That is the case with Angle. This is a scripted work of fiction and to say that reign never occurred is to go by what the company said, thus making fiction reality. Several discussions were held on this years ago. See the talk pages of List of World Heavyweight Champions (WWE), List of TNA World Heavyweight Champions, etc. A consensus was reached to go by what the facts are and not what the belief is. It is rather very complicated. The company owns the rights, but this is an encyclopedia which is meant to report the facts and not what someone says are the facts. Richard Nixon said he wasn't a part of Watergate and because he says this should the article reflect that he had no involvement whatsoever even with proof he was involved? That is the part of the whole issue. All of the old editors are gone who knew these things.--WillC 19:14, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

I'll have to look later on to give an exact answer. It all depends on actions. If one of his reigns was recognized and then later not, then it is a legitimate reign that should have the situation noted. However, it is official so it should be counted in the official history. I have chosen to ignore the NWA Title history because it is too much of a headache to try to figure out an exact history. I want to get that list to FL but everytime I work with anything NWA, I end up wanting to kick a bag of puppies.--WillC 21:59, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

I'm being reasonable.

The TNA HOF reflects what the wrestler has done specifically in TNA, not his whole career.

Listing his TNA accomplishments is fine, now if I had listed everything a guy had done regardless of the company he did it in (like if I included Sting's WCW titles or Angle's WWE titles), then you would have a point.

But listing a guy's TNA accomplishments only shouldn't be that big of an issue. Vjmlhds 16:04, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

Now we're getting into subjective terms. What's important to you may not be so to others, and vice versa.

With the WWE HOF article, the streamlining is mostly due to WWE recognizing titles from NWA, WCW, AWA, ECW, and so forth. So the limits there are mainly for space purposes.

With the TNA HOF, all we're dealing with is titles won in TNA, so there's no need to be so restrictive. Vjmlhds 18:18, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

With all the other organizations WWE recognizes, some streamlining is needed there to keep things from getting out of hand.

With TNA not so much because it simply deals with TNA titles (including Angle's IWGP World Title, since he won it under TNA contract and was recognized by and defended in TNA). Vjmlhds 18:33, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

A beer for you!

I may not have made my self clear before. All I wanted was for it to be pointed out that AJ (like HBK in the case of the I-C title) was not the recognized champion even though he claimed to be. The way it was written before could have been confusing. I've since adjusted things just to make it clear that there was only 1 recognized champion even though 2 guys made the claim. Hello

Sorry for not replying earlier, HHH. I am well, how about you? I totally support the idea of a new consensus, but my main concern is whether "face" or "heel" can be mentioned at all. WillC is saying they can be used as long as they are explained. Of course the problem is if we use some jargon but we do not explain the others. Have you heard of Wikipedia:Requests for comment? starship.paint (talk | ctrb) 06:10, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Okay if you don't strongly feel that the PPV disclaimer needs to be removed entirely that's fine, then it's up to Hulk to contest it. But I'm still concerned that Antoshi doesn't see how the lower tier heel thingy is relevant to JTG even when we explain what's a heel. starship.paint (talk | ctrb) 13:12, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
Well, I want to use heel and face, not hero and villain, because it feels silly. But if we put Face (description) it's fine. Also, I imagine we use the description once in the article, so the rest of the article, we can write properly. Also, I think the career is more than a list of matches. I don't know why, but classic wrestlers, like Hogan, Hart or Taker, are better than articles like Batista, Del Rio or Sheamus. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 13:27, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
It was the timing. Things grooved slowly, like a melodic saxaphone solo. Nowadays, it's bing-bang-boom faster than the bookers or fans can think, like a Zakk Wylde guitar solo (to paraphrase Steve Austin). Matches go the same way as angles. Too many highspots, too little time. When angles are good, articles get better. You getting (or have) the WWE Network? Anyway, good luck with your block. Sorry! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Derek Frazier, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Different enough from the version deleted after the 2006 Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Derek Frazier not to meet WP:G4 deletion. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 10:59, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

Christian's Coalition

During Tomko's time with Christian's Coalition he held the IWGP Tag Team Championship and carried it around with him during his time teaming with Christian Cage and A.J Styles also Christian would make fun of him calling the IWGP belt a toy belt because Tomko Traveled to Japan and won the titles with Giant Bernard and brought it back to TNA with him so that's how it was part of a TNA Stable (please research things before you start changing them) JMichael22 (talk) 06:08, 12 March 2014 (UTC)

Christian's no manager. He's a friend and teammate, which is why he occasionally cornered Edge. Just because someone is at ringside like a manager doesn't make them a manager. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:34, 17 April 2014 (UTC)

Can you revert my last two edits on Sports-related curses? I'd do it myself if I wasn't worried about making it three in a row.

Curse aside, it was technically original research, so should be removed. If you're not the same kind of crazy I am, the curse won't affect you.

Tag titles

I was around when that issue happened and dealt with it in the first discussion. At the title, the episode and the web site said that Kaz and Young were stripped of the titles, thus making it an official reign. TNA then tried to rewrite their history. Since we are supposed to report facts, we should go by the actual events and not the "supposed" events that companies try to make up.--WillC 02:27, 12 May 2014 (UTC)

Cornette stripped Kaz and Young of the titles. That made their reign official. TNA may not recognize it now, but at the time they did and that is enough. If there isn't a source that says Syxx originally held the title then it isn't official. However, since WWE recognizes the reign it should be noted. Otherwise, he isn't an official champion without WCW approval that it ever actually happened. The companies can try to rewrite history but once it happens it happens. Afterwards doesn't matter in some circumstances. The WCW Tag Title list should be good. Go back to when it was pasted as an FL. A knowledgeable editor got it to FL, so all the information there should be verifiable. I'd have to be more familiar with the situation. The Ray issue is a storyline reign. Happened during the match so it isn't official.--WillC 08:06, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

Ray Gonzalez

FYI, the JJ title change was not treated as a dusty finish. I was there that night and the announcements were quite clear. He was first announced as new champion. Afterwards, the original ref took the belt and a discussion involving both referees and the "commission" took place. The announcement that followed used the phrase "El titulo queda despojado a Ray González y Jeff Jarrett sera considerado como campeón nuevamente. El resultado de la lucha sigue en pie". The IWA wanted to make sure that the "change" was clear, and Moody Jack and Axel Cruz made it clear that the promotion recognized the change by mentioning it in Impacto Total the following week. El Alternativo (talk) 19:08, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

BTW, according to the "official (Commission) rules" of pro wrestling in PR, every championship match that fails to end cleanly automatically results in the title being "congelado" or held up. Titles are only returned to the champion in the case of a draw or a DQ, and this was neither. JJ was not going to leave the belt behind and come back later, hence the happy medium finish. El Alternativo (talk) 19:13, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
That's good. This is the recording of when the match was aired in December of that year. It is not the Impacto Total of the following week, this is actually an edition of Zona Caliente, but in it you can clearly hear the announcer say "El ganador y nuevo campeón mundial de la NWA..." in the background (try to drown Cruz's voice a bit or turn up your loudspeaker). Also note how half a year after the match they still hyped the win and "conveniently" ended the show with González holding the belt. El Alternativo (talk) 22:33, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Makes sense or not, that's how it is on the instructions. I didn't make them up. Take it to the project if you want to have it changed. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 20:01, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Good idea.

That's actually a very good idea you had, regarding moving people like Batista and Brie Bella to unassigned personnel.

It shows that they're still under WWE contract, but not officially part of the roster.

In real life, Brie's taking time off, and Batista is off promoting his new movie, but in storyline they "quit" WWE.

Kudos, sir.

WWE

As far as I understand it is actually both. WWE is what it goes by but its official legal name is still World Wrestling Entertainment. As for a consensus, I don't remember. I usually handle TNA, indy, and Japanese articles. I stay away from WWE if I can since most editors are concerned with it. Other places need help as well.--WillC 01:19, 11 June 2014 (UTC)

It is okay. I'll try to help if I can anyway. I'm one of the oldest editors still on here so it makes sense.--WillC 22:43, 11 June 2014 (UTC)

What?

I did not include anyone (just Garrett Dylan because he was added to WWE.com). I just corrected some links (internal and external) and some old information (like Vintage Collection that now is just Vintage). And I put some people in the right place too (Torito for exemple is a wrestler and was on "Other on-air personnel" and Hulk Hogan could not wrestle anymore and was on "Male wrestlers". If you just saw all the changes that I did instead of just revert without looking first you could notice that. HÊÚL. (talk) 23:50, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

Well it is true and I have reasons:
1) The NXT broadcast team is not composed of developmental people: Jason Albert, Tom Phillips, Renee Young, Alex Riley, Byron Saxton, Wiilliam Regal, Scott Stanford. All of them are part of the main roster. The only exception is Rich Brennan but the guy is not part of the developmental roster too. He was contracted from Booker T's Reality Of Wrestling to do this job.
2) "JBL full ringname is John Bradshaw Layfield, not JBL (yes, his titantron and WW profile says JBL, but he stills refered as John Bradshaw Layfield)" Really? Because I never noticed anyone refer to him as such. I never listened to Lawler call him Bradshaw. I never heard Cole call him Layfield. And please correct me if I am mistaken but their show is called JBL & Cole Show. It is exactly like MVP for example. His ringname means Montel Vontavious Porter. How many times he was called ou was reffered to as Porter? JBL means John "Bradshaw" Layfield but the ringname is JBL (per his titantron, his WWE.com profile, his Youtube show).
3) There were not sources for them as referees when they were on their section on developmental roster too. So they can stay on the developmental section without a source but not on the main roster section? This one a really cannot understand.
HÊÚL. (talk) 13:12, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
For the titantron to short the name is understandable. Rob Van Dam titantron says just RVD and Shawn Michaels says HBK. But there is no reason to WWE.com short his name if it is not his official ringname because there are other profiles with longer ringnames than John "Bradshaw" Layfield. So if WWE.com report him as just JBL it is because it is his official ringname and this is the way that WWE wants him to be recognised. JTG means Just Too Good (he used this ringname earlier) but they shortened it and JTG became his official ringname just like MVP. And the show just do not need the short name. It could be called Layfield & Cole Show but it is called JBL because this is his official ringname. WWE could not register John Layfield because it is his real name and Bradshaw is his old ringname that became his nickname so they registered the JBL ringname instead. This is so logical that I simply do not understand why to complicate the things unless to just prove that some POV is correct and as I can see this discussion is going forever. You do not said anything about the other two points. HÊÚL. (talk) 14:24, 21 June 2014 (UTC)

PROGRESS

That's fine. Please don't amend other sections that were not to with removing the event by event history. The vandalism of the title history and nicknames, for example. --Cleslie92 (talk) 19:01, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

As creator of the page I am attempting to edit, please do not continue to vandalise it. Thank you. The title histories are done in accordance with the presentation of title histories elsewhere on Wikipedia - I would direct you to List of UFC Champions. --Cleslie92 (talk) 19:08, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

I attempted to create individual event pages, in accordance with the style elsewhere, but they were deleted. Seems these standards are fast and loose. Since the event pages and records of title defenses were deleted, I added them to the champions table. If the event pages were to be maintained I would see no problem in amending the format of the title table on the main page. The roster page for the company is not exhaustive, and the company do not wish to have real names included. As such I have deleted the roster table entirely and will replace it with a descriptive section.

I did not claim I should be the only allowed to edit, but when you make criticisms I think you should do the creator the courtesy of being able to fix them before jumping on them. --Cleslie92 (talk) 19:22, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

LA Park

It's clear that Adolfo Tapia isn't the common name. Even though he's pretty well known as L.A. Park, I still think he's best known as the original La Parka. However, I think the move is controversial enough that you need to start a discussion before moving the page. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 14:58, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

Sure he's been L.A. Park for longer, but I think he was more relevant as La Parka. He was a star under that name in both AAA and WCW under a time when wrestling was much bigger than it has been since 2003. I think that most people who don't follow Mexican indies remember him as La Parka. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 15:05, 27 August 2014 (UTC)

In regards to the naming of the articles. I have not noticed the show being referred to as "Aniversario" in English language sources as such, yes all Spanish language sources obviously call it that, but I have not noticed English language sources consistently referring to it as "Aniversario". Sin Salida, Juicio Final, Dos Leyendas are all referred to as such in English as well, never ever translated while the Anniversary show is called that in 75% of the English sources I read.  MPJ -US  14:26, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
