File source problem with File:Helen khan.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Helen khan.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:27, 31 March 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Radiant chains (talk) 11:27, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Freida Pinto has been reverted as it appears to be pushing a point of view. Furthermore, your edit removed content supported by what appears to be a reliable source and replaced it with what is considered original research. Please do not continue to edit in such a manner, as it is considered disruptive behavior and continued disruptive behavior will lead to your account being blocked. -- The Red Pen of Doom 03:22, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Shobana.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —SpacemanSpiff 18:57, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for Repeated addition of copyright images claiming PD-100 and PD-Self. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. —SpacemanSpiff 20:45, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Please review my block and lift the block because someone could be sharing the same IP address as me which could be the reason I was blocked for an indefinite period of time.

Decline reason:

This is not an autoblock; you are directly blocked for ignoring warnings to stop adding copyrighted material to articles. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 01:57, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • Unblock reviewer: This isn't an autoblock, this was a block of H3919 (talk · contribs) for repeatedly adding copyrighted images and also original research/factual inaccuracies to articles. The user has since come back as P6junn (talk · contribs) and P6jun (talk · contribs) and did the same thing. Okay, I understand the reasons for why I was blocked. I didn't really read the guidelines before editing the 'Dravidian' wikipedia. I created 2 accounts last year and the main reason why I logged in now after soo much months is to make changes to the origin of Dravidian and Indo aryan ethnic groups. I also didn't really know about the guidelines before posting images on wikipedia. So, please lift the block. I will make sure not to repeat the same mistakes as I did before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by H3919 (talkcontribs) 02.54, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

And you also didn't know that adding made-up citations like you did here is not allowed? Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 12:48, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
