You know, I'm not certain that the edit to Breast was vandalism. It might have been a misguided good-faith edit. If it was, that warning might have been a bit harsh. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 07:05, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

November Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: Admin Coaching (needs coaches!)
Admin Coaching needs coaches!!! If you are an administrator, or even a generally experienced user, do consider signing up to be a coach.

Admin Coaching, now being coordinated by HighwayCello, is a program for people who want help learning some of the more subtle aspects of Wikipedia policy and culture. People are matched with experienced users who are willing to offer coaching. The program is designed for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.

What's New?
The Tutorial Drive is a new Esperanza program! In an effort to make complicated processes on Wikipedia easier for everyone, Esperanza working to create and compile a list of tutorials about processes here on Wikipedia. Consider writing one!
A discussion on how Esperanza relates to the encyclopedia has been started; please add your thoughts.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
  • The list of proposed programs has been updated, with some proposals being archived.
  • There is now a new program: the Tutorial Drive! Consider writing a tutorial on something you are good at doing on Wikipedia.
  • The suggestion of adding a cohesive look to all the Esperanza pages is being considered; join the discussion if you are interested!
  • In order to make a useful interlanguage welcome template, those involved in translation projects will be asked what English Wikipedia policies are most important and confusing to editors coming from other language Wikipedias.
  • A discussion of Esperanza's role in Wikipedia is being held, with all thoughts of all Esperanzians wanted!
  • Shreshth91 informed everyone that he will be leaving the Esperanza council as life is rather busy; his spot will be filled by the runner up from the last election, HighwayCello.

Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.

I'm honored

Happy time

I would like to reach out to you and give you a pat on the back for a job well done. Thanks for looking out for my page and I hope that your stress level goes down soon. If there is anything I can do to help, I'll gladly lend an ear. Take care and, by all means, make sure you take it easy. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 09:13, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Signature

Your signature is 251 characters long, while WP:SIG specifies a 200 to 250 character limit. I recommend you shorten your sig a bit more. ~~•Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 10:26, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Come on, it's one character over! That isn't too bad, is it?--SUIT42 23:06, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
If you don't count the spaces, it's only 247. So says Microsoft Word. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 03:36, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
I personally find it ludicrous that someone with a signature that ridiculously eye-catching is complaining about Suit. If you participated in XfDs, Sean, you would probably be asked to change that signature; it's far too attention-grabbing. It also clutters things up for those of us who read through diffs.
Sorry, I just had to butt in there. Carry on... riana_dzasta 04:19, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
All the same, Suit, if you went from

it shortens it a smidge. And the effect is exactly the same. riana_dzasta 04:27, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

A, AN

The "a" "an" usage is kind of hard with "homage." It's a personal preference to pronounce "homage" with the "H" or with the "O" sound. If you pronounce it with the "H" sound than an "a" is used, but with an "O" sound you use "an". I think I will replace the whole word so that this doesn't become a problem later. Just thought I'd let you know that I had initially reverted, but now I'm just going to change altogether. Bignole 13:42, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Makes sense.--SUIT42 03:05, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Wikiplomacy

Hey Atomic, regarding your talkpage, as Wikiplomacy is gone, would you be ok with me deleting your user subpage on the topic? I understand all this stuff is moving to another wiki or something, with existing pages being MfD'd - it's simpler to avoid the paperwork involved in that if you're ok with it. --Improv 07:01, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

User talk:Power level (Dragon Ball)

I would like to know why you removed my comment in this person's talk page. It was titled "Stacy's Mom". You stated that I did not sign my message, when I in fact did sign it. I would also like to inform you that other users can not remove other people's talk page messages unless it is vandalism. The user the talk page it belongs to can remove them. Fighting for Justice 07:28, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Calm down. In case you didn't notice, he was talking about the comment above yours. Removing yours was probably an accident (it's happened to me before). Suit is a good user; he would never intentionally harm Wikipedia or any of it's thousands of users. // Sasuke-kun27 12:43, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
I think this is cleared up.--SUIT42 19:46, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Notice: A fellow user

A User:Zhahzha has been placing orphan tags on several Dragon Ball related images that are in current use. I'll revert this person's doings as soon as I'm done here, but I need you or any other Wikipedians to warn this person. Power level (Dragon Ball) 17:11, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism report

I noticed you left a notice about User Talk:Zhahzha on Wikipedia:Administrator_intervention_against_vandalism. This is supposed to be for repeated vandals who have ignored warnings. You should attempt to warn the offending user about their actions first and assume good faith. -- Dgies 17:26, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Right. I'll do that.--SUIT42 17:27, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Abusive

According to this here, the user has tagged an orphan template on 20-50 or so images. I suggest severe administrative action should be taken against User talk:Zhahzha because of the person's actions immediately. --Power level (Dragon Ball) 17:48, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't know what to do about it, why don't you contact an Admin about this instead of me?--SUIT42 17:50, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm too lazy about that, and I'm still busy un-orphaning the images. I beg of you to do it, please?!! Please notify administrators?!! Power level (Dragon Ball) 18:04, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

I like mine. It's really cool. But for some reason, I can only see it on some computers and not others... // Sasuke-kun27 21:50, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Would this work?

About the Super Saiyan page, under super saiyan, there is a list of 'known users' that had achieved that level, Future Trunks was included, but I was wondering would Future Gohan be qualified to be included, since he did make an appearance in the DBZ movie "絶望への反抗!! 残された超戦士・悟飯とトランクス", but you probably have a point to disagree to this.

Hello!

Hey, Atomic-Super-Suit... its been a while huh? I was out for a couple of weeks cause my computer started acting up. So I went to go get it fixed, and it turns out the motherboard was completly fucked up. So I did what any other pissed off person with cash would do. I kicked my COM around a few minutes, then I spit on it another few minutes, and finally I went out to Best Buy and got a new one! See, it all worked out for BP. So now that im back...eh... what'd I miss? Any new trolls? -- bulletproof 3:16 18:10, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

You truly did things the American way. Anyway, there was some vandalism on Dragon Ball pages like always, and more vandalism. Just a lot of vandalism, that's about all. I haven't really been in much either, so that's all I can tell you.--SUIT42 20:04, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry if I appear to be uncivil. It may look like I'm attacking Whisper specifically, but that's only because he's the only one arguing against the rest of us. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your support!

I can't say thank you enough for the support that you have shown me over the past few days. It means the world to me, and has certainly helped me along the road to recovery! I will cherish forever the kind messages and "gifts" that were sent to me and think of them whenever times are rough.

I didn't realise that my absence would cause so much concern, and I apologise if I caused anyone undue stress. I feel that I owe you an explanation, at least! for what happened, to return in some small way the kindness you showed to me. I will post it here as soon as possible, if you would like to know the reason for my brief departure and the links on my userpage.

Thank you for your message, Suit! And don't worry, you were absolutely not wasting my time. I really appreciate the support and the kind words. They've helped me get through this and I appreciate them to no end! Thanks for being there for me :-)

Kyle's mom

I wonder if you would consider restoring the Kyle's Mom text. I think it adds to the article and is kinda sweet, in a South Park way of course. Thanks. --CliffC 03:24, 15 November 2006 (UTC) The entire paragraph was:

This is a song sung by Cartman in two episodes, Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo and South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut (in which towards the end of the song Sheila was actually standing behind Cartman, who proceeded to sing the song to the end before looking behind him and exclaiming "Aw, fuck!"). The lyrics can be found here.

Sure, go ahead, though I haven't a clue what that adds to the article.--SUITWhat? 42 03:25, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
