Eastern Lombard[edit]

Hello, as you probably already know, a Lombard wikipedia has been recently created. Unfortunately, its authors (me included) are mostly western Lombard speakers. There are some papers in Eastern Lombard, though. I guess that you are an Eastern Lombard one, instead. I would like to invite you to participate to this project. Though I am a western speaker, I am studying Eastern varieties too, so, if you are not willing to take part in Lombard wikipedia for any reason, I could translate Eastern Lombard in the next future. Sorry, I prefer working only on English Wikipedia. My most severe limitation in contributing to Lombard Wiki is my lack of (scientific) vocabulary in Lombard; my articles would be only a sloppy translation from Italian. Furthermore I'm more interested in linguistics than in expanding common-knowledge articles. I hope I can work again on Eastern Lombard as soon as possible. --Gio' 17:40, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
