it's not really fair to dump on the arbcommittee for being appointed. I remember after the last election, a bunch of guys, like 5 or 6, spent pages arguing about rewriting the rules for the election. Completely changing them. For 'giano always wins' or 'giano never wins', etc. You can hardly have a real election when people do that. Anarchy is not the appointed committee's fault. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.112.43.3 (talk) 21:54, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Requested Diff[edit]

Giano, is this the diff you were asking for where the arb case filing party said it was not about you? Tex (talk) 15:54, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No there was an earlier one that that somewhere, Fozzie saying he did not want me involved or somethinh like that... 22:44, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Although, this diff, where an actual arb says it wasn't about you, is probably more interesting. Tex (talk) 15:59, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, these are all the diffs from Fozzie surrounding this incident during that time. I'm not sure which you are looking for. He did not edit on June 29 or 30, then here and here he set up the request for arbitration in his userspace as his first edits on that day. Here is his inital statement to the arbs. After notifying you and the others, he wrote a reply about you only being a party because you were the fulcrum. He then went to Neil's page and said a bunch of stuff that doesn't really say you aren't a party. Then he clarified his reply to the arbs. He then asked you to make a statment and replied to Irpen on your page. Then he went to Irpen's page to talk about running for arbcom (or something). He then went off in other directions, but talked to BishZilla later where he also says you shouldn't be punished. WHEW! Are any of those what you were looking for? Feedback[edit]

I read most of your Wikipedia in general observations & got a kick out of it. As I've no wish to go into pacifics (and I'm not sure if you allow feedback), feel free to delete my posting. GoodDay (talk) 15:27, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't really understand what you are saying, but i beleive in free speech, so long as it is intelligent. so go ahead. Giano (talk) 16:29, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nay! elaboration isn't my style. Besides, this is your territory; thanks for letting me have a peek. GoodDay (talk) 16:48, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great stuff Giano! I wonder if you've read any of the [soon to be so revised as to be unrecognizable as the original] drama? A lot of people here can't stand the truth. Thank you for keeping hope alive and letting in some light. BobDysart (talk) 23:50, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vampire picture[edit]

I am still very sad about that vampire picture disappearing. 86.142.235.100 (talk) 21:15, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Giano, darlin',,,,[edit]

You know, you are possibly the most AWESOMEst editor in the history of the 'pedia. I mean that. You are the Wikipedian I would be if I could. (I haven't the guts; I'm passive-aggressive, people-pleasing, all the sloppy sugary dross that perpetuates every badness that WP has to offer. I don't mean to be; I'm just spineless, really.)

Having said that: Could you please, please, pleez? rethink your antipathy towards cats? They're truly not so awful, really. Really. On nearly every other point you've made, I agree with you to a degree >= 1.00; but don't disrespect my kittehs, plz. My feline sympathies don't make me any less-inclined to agree with your ArbCom/those-in-power nose-thumbings; it's just that...Seriously, cats aren't that horrid. My cats would gladly hiss at the ArbCom, granted the opportunity.

(Seriously, G: Wikipedia needs you. Keep kicking ass/taking names/thumbing nose/whatever you need to do. You are...I hesitate, not being 14 years old, to say "da bomb" but...yeah, you sorta are. I applaud your rage. I endorse your anger. Carry on, please. But leave the kittehs out.)Gladys J Cortez 00:25, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I can never resist the request of a beautiful lady [1]. Love Giano (talk) 21:03, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hehehehe...If you FIND a beautiful lady around here somewhere, and she asks you to do something, I have no doubt she will be just as grateful for your lack of resistance as I am for you removing the cat refs. :) Truly, you are quite awesome indeed. I thank you, and the two yowling beasties currently crowding me from my typing-chair thank you as well.Gladys J Cortez 22:18, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. I would TOTALLY vote for you for ArbCom. And I'm from Chicago, so I get more than one vote.Gladys J Cortez 22:19, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Brilliant stuff. It's always a pleasure to read a well-written lampoon of the cumulative experiences of a seasoned veteran of a community. Blue Danube (talk) 06:53, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
