Watch your language, and please read WP:Identifying reliable sources. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:57, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Malik Shabazz: What, just because the mainstream media (in your eyes CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC news and CNN) chose not to show the racism of rioters of the Black Lives Matter movement means its not noteworthy for the article? I find this absolutely disgusting and it needs to be mentioned. Did you even care to watch the video? It's a perfect source. Ghoul flesh talk 04:02, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I recommend you read the guideline and try to explain how the Libertarian Republic, Info Wars, and American Mirror satisfy the requirements of WP:IRS. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:07, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Malik Shabazz: I recommend you personally reply to me and stop acting like a Wikipedia bot. This event is clearly notable enough for the article. I hate that I have to provide it with right-wing sources, but the video clearly shows what really went down. Ghoul flesh talk 04:13, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I did reply to you. If the event were "clearly notable", then reliable sources would be reporting it. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:15, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Malik Shabazz: You clearly don't understand how the media works, you poor sap. CNN and NBC are not reliable, just saying. Also are you against my use of Fox News as a source? (I don't trust Fox News either, but) Is that what you're referring to when you say "The American Mirror"...? Anyway, this needs to be mentioned in the article. It was reported by several media outlets, just not the "major" ones. I just find it ridiculous to call the sources unreliable when that video clearly shows everything said in the article. Ghoul flesh talk 04:19, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Just keep up the insults. Fox News is not the source, American Mirror is. Try reading a little -- it might do you some good. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:22, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and for all your braying, you still haven't explained how any of the three sources satisfies WP:IRS. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:24, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Malik Shabazz: And you still fail to even directly reply to my comment about the video. Unbelievable. I bet you haven't even watched it yet. Probably won't either. And I said I don't care for Fox News and would try to find more reputable sources if needed (which clearly are) Ghoul flesh talk 04:28, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss first at Talk:Franchesca Ramsey[edit]

Please carefully review Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. It's obvious you have decided that Franchesca Ramsey isn't negative enough for your taste. Wikipedia policy doesn't consider a lack of criticism of living people to be an urgent problem. The burden is on those who would add controversial information, and we err on the side of caution to avoid harming anyone's reputation.

Rather than forge ahead trying to make crude changes to the article, you should use Talk:Franchesca Ramsey to seek consensus and get input from the wider community. Recklessly violating the BLP policy can easily get you blocked form editing, so why risk it? If consensus supports your changes, there's nothing lost in discussing it for a week or two first. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 22:12, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article WikiFeet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged for notability for almost a year; no independent reliable coverage that establishes notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Phil Anderson (politician), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ron Johnson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:WikiFeet, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:36, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:WikiFeet[edit]

Hello, Ghoul flesh. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "WikiFeet".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the db-afc, db-draft, or db-g13 code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 12:06, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

With your introduction of conspiracy and defamation, you are walking a very thin line. Acroterion, this edit is pretty damning, with the BS about "changing stories", although perhaps with this one they redeemed themselves a bit. Still, as Grayfell noted, this is unacceptable. April 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm JesseRafe. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from Larry Sharpe (politician). Often redlinks can be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.

In addition, clicking on the "What links here" special link (in the Wikipedia Toolbox at left) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Redlinks are useful! Please, only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! Replaceable fair use File:Aubrey Dunn, Jr.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Aubrey Dunn, Jr.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

 1. Go to the file description page and add the text below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
 2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:42, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Ghoul flesh/billboard requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. This is not your personal webhost. Drmies (talk) 22:26, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
All of my activities on Wikipedia are not for you to review. The fact that you're still hovering/obsessing over my edits weeks later is disturbing and is stalking. I will alert appropriate Wikipedia administrators if you do not desist. Ghoul fleshtalk 23:49, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ghoul flesh, I've restored the speedy tag again. A patrolling admin will of course make the decision, but it looks like a pretty obvious violation to me. Drmies (an experienced admin, by the way) is not personally singling you out. In any case, the way to protest the speedy nomination is by clicking where indicated and making your case; I suggest you do that as soon as possible. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Alex Merced requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Please read this notice carefully.

You are receiving this notice because you recently edited one or more pages relating to blockchain or cryptocurrencies topics. You have not done anything wrong. We just want to alert you that "general" sanctions are authorized for certain types of edits to those pages.

A community decision has authorized the use of general sanctions for pages related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after the editor has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

File permission problem with File:Jo Jorgensen 2020 presidential campaign logo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jo Jorgensen 2020 presidential campaign logo.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

 • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
 • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as non-free fair use or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Custom signature fix needed[edit]

Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error, specifically formatting tags that are in the wrong order.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
 1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
 2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
 3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
 4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
 1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
 2. Change the signature as shown below, or make other edits to make the signature appear how you want it to appear.
 3. Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.

Current signature:
<span style="color:red"><span class="smallcaps" style="font-variant:small-caps;">Ghoul flesh</span></span> • <span style="color:#32CD32">talk</span>

Fixed signature:
<span style="color:red"><span class="smallcaps" style="font-variant:small-caps;">Ghoul flesh</span></span> • <span style="color:#32CD32">talk</span>

More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:48, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of libertarian socialist political parties, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
