Michael J. Fox Canadian-American[edit]

I noticed that in April you deleted the description of Michael J. Fox as a Canadian American. You also altered this article without citing a reason.

Just so that you are aware, Michael J. Fox is a dual Canadian-American citizen, and should be described as such or as a "Canadian born American citizen". To describe him as simply "Canadian" is inaccurate, and deceptive by omission.

"Canadian born American citizen" is definitely incorrect, as if Michael's primary citizenship is American. I am a citizen of three countries but if asked, I refer to my country of birth as my main nationality/ethnicity. The issue of dual citizenship has been properly addressed under "personal". It should only be changed if there is any evidence that Michael himself prefers to be called an American as opposed to Canadian. Ghlobe (talk) 03:53, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
