Speedy deletion nomination of Pat O'Connor (Cork Boxer)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Pat O'Connor (Cork Boxer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Proposed deletion of Rockchapel GAA[edit]

The article Rockchapel GAA has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

On the basis that the creator self identified this article as lacking sources I an using this method to propose deletion rather than the speedy deletion track. My rationale is that this will give sufficient time for references fro reliable sources to be found and added, otherwise the article will be weeded out. The article makes no attempt currently to assert notability of this club.. It should be noted that my choosing the PROD route does not preclude another editor suggesting a more immediate deletion track.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. That set of GAA articles[edit]

I just singled one out for attention, and gentle attention as you saw. But another editor may look at the swathe of articles, see that they suffer the same lack, and propose them for speedy deletion. I know you are busy working on them at present, so leave answering this (if you do) until such time as you feel you have done enough to preserve them all.

I have a suggestion that may help for the future, which is to create the articles in your user space by creating a page such as User:Gerardmurphy1983/final article title and to move it on completion to the final article title.
