September 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Say It Like You Mean It has been reverted.
Your edit here to Say It Like You Mean It was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://diamondintherock.wordpress.com/2012/09/05/the-starting-line-say-it-like-you-mean-it-review) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Reviews[edit]

I reverted your recent edit to ¡Uno!. There is a 10 score limit for the ratings template, and the scores are included considering the notability of the review source and a neutral point of view in representing the reception (WP:ALBUMS/CRITICAL). Blogs and other user-generated content are self-published sources and are generally not acceptable, as they lack editorial oversight, fact-checking, and anyone can create their own. Acceptable review sources are listed at WP:ALBUMS/REVSIT, as well as those used by Metacritic and AnyDecentMusic? aggregate review sites. Dan56 (talk) 23:06, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Four (Bloc Party album) and Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Your edits have been reverted as they appear to conflict with guidelines at WP:ALBUMS/CRITICAL, specifically the limit for review scores in the ratings template and the criteria for acceptable reviews: "Professional reviews may include only reviews written by professional music journalists or DJs, or found within any online or print publication having a (paid or volunteer) editorial and writing staff (which excludes personal blogs)." If you have any questions, feel free to ask at my talk page. Thank you. Dan56 (talk)

Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page The Possibility and the Promise, because to me it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to They Said a Storm Was Coming. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.

Stop adding your blog now[edit]

You're not a professional reviewer and so don't qualify to be added as a professional reviewer source. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:22, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You should discuss the addition of your blog before adding it so regularly. I recommend you visit WP:ALBUMS/REVSITE, and you can feel free to bring up a topic about your blog at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Albums. However, I would recommend you discuss your blog and why you think it's professional and fits the guidelines of REVSITE before adding it anymore. Thank you.
