My friend, why do you insist on putting a very large amount of this fictitious text on the Tariq ibn Ziyad page? No Arabic or Andalusi source that is within hundreds of years of Tariq's time mentions this speech, it is an invention of much later writers. There is a link to it on the page, so that those who wish to see it may do so, but that is all that it deserves. Tariq's feat in overcoming an entire kingdom speaks for itself, there is no need to put words into his mouth. MisterCDE (talk) 11:24, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
