sorry for breaking the rules, theres just so many to learn. what/where is the sandbox? --Camro7 09:35, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

ok

thanks

I have annulled the non-admin early closure of the first AFD on TomTom and it is now reopened for discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TomTom (2nd nomination). As you contributed to the first AFD I am notifying you so that you can contribute again. Stifle (talk) 14:01, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

tl

I noticed in a deletion comment that you used nowiki tags to avoid creating a template link. There's another way to refer to templates: {{tl|fact}}, which produces this: {{fact}}. It's a simple template that returns a link to the template and looks a bit neater. (ESkog)(Talk) 07:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for dealing with that for me, completely my mistake. J Milburn (talk) 19:21, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

prods

Thanks for catching that, I seem to have gotten a little overexcited when using prod... -Yupik (talk) 13:48, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

I'll second that, I admit, I hadn't checked the history of the article that you de-prodded.--Vidkun (talk) 18:42, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

AfD question: Recombinant text

I have very little experience in AfD matters, and am asking for your input before nominating an article for deletion, because, quite frankly, I do not want to be seen as someone who capriciously nominates articles which do not meet AfD standards.

If you have time, please take a look at this article. It was created by the person who—as the intro asserts—is the very person who coined the term. Most of the edits are by that person. Most, if not all, of the sources link back to this person. I mean, at best it appears to me to constitute OR, at worst, self-promotion. But maybe I'm seeing it wrong. What do you think?

I selected you and many other editors pretty much completely at random; I picked one day's AfD archives, and clicked on the talk pages of the first two or three dozen editors' talk pages I came across. I hope that in using this selection method, I will get editors who are well-versed in AfD policies, yet who also represent a good cross-section of AfD philosophies. I will monitor your talk page for your response. Thanks. Unschool (talk) 07:08, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

NRHP infobox

I notice you added a groovy Infobox at Boston-Edison. I can't figure out how it's supposed to be set up for other articles. Could you also box a couple other articles, Arden Park-East Boston and Sacred Heart Major Seminary? Or point me toward a tutorial for the NRHP infobox . Thanks. Andrew Jameson (talk) 20:29, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

OK, thanks. I think I figured it out with the help of the "infobox creator". If you've got a moment, double-check my syntax at Arden Park-East Boston, Sacred Heart Major Seminary, and Fort Wayne (Detroit), although I think everything is correct. Thanks!Andrew Jameson (talk) 21:47, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey, do you live in Davenport, or did you just feel like cleaning up the pages? Ctjf83talk 19:08, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Ok, thank you for your contributions! Ctjf83talk 20:42, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Portia (Shakespeare)

Hi. Noticed you removed the article for deletion consideration that I had put on Portia (Shakespeare) but did not explain why on the discussion page. I was just wondering what the inbound links were, as I feel that they should either point to the correct Shakespearean Portia or to the Portia disambigution page. Otherwise, it feels like a double-redirect (You first type in Portia, then you then have to go to Portia (Shakespeare), then you have to choose the one you want... rather than just getting the link from the original Portia page). Thanks! Portia1780 (talk) 20:09, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! Only one of those was legit. The other three should have pointed directly to Portia (Merchant of Venice), so I fixed those and left the other one pointing to the disambiguation page. (And thanks for the wikipedia lesson!) Portia1780 (talk) 23:41, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Re: Charlotte Anderson

Hello. I never saw that - those are the same two people of course, you are correct. Hmm.... should we delete the article I wrote and have that redirect to Charlotte Ander, or should we delete Charlotte Ander and move Charlotte Anderson to Charlotte Ander. Please tell me your thoughts. Thanks. - Milk's Favorite Cookie 20:45, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Quick note

I noticed that you added the {{Film}} template for Dare to Love Me. Just wanted to remind you that parameters should only be used if they "=yes"; many of them, such as "needs-infobox" will treat any value as a yes response, because =no responses should not be included, in order to save space and time. Please feel free to ask me if you have any further questions! Thanks, Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 20:23, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

WRHU

See WRHU discussion page and the discussion page of the user who commented to me. -UWMSports (talk) 00:46, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

And its more about deleting the "They Worked at WRHU" section of the WRHU article as it is clearly a bio for people no one has heard of outside of Alan Colmes. So if you have a better label for that section I'll change it. -UWMSports (talk) 01:12, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Please see Dave Mock. Nominated for deletion. Clearly a bio written by same user of WRHU. No sources, nothing more than a stub. -UWMSports (talk) 18:23, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Actually Dave Mock is an autobiography. Look at the username of who's been editing Dave Mock. Grounds for instant deletion I think. -UWMSports (talk) 18:30, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

About Peel School Dunrankin

Hi,
It won't be merging into another article since it is one whole thing by it's self.I hope you Understand! --~*~Lil’GKhanster~*~...Take Care & Be Merry (talk) 00:38, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi there - as the person who prodded this, let me just say that I appreciate your adding to the article that was there. As it stands, the article is now a respectable stub (it wasn't before), so there's no reason to delete it. User:Phil Bridger has already removed the prod tag, but I would have done so if he hadn't - so thanks for putting the effort into it. Gavia immer (talk) 16:51, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi, if you get a moment I wonder if you would do one of your infoboxes for this page, pl? I'm leaving the prod tag on until I've added the sources, so its not AfD'd prematurely. TerriersFan (talk) 20:35, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Basic infobox is done. 2 Artsmark Silver awards also cited. The Ofsted inspection report acknowledges the other awards. Ofsted also notes a 1997 curriculum award. • Gene93k (talk) 21:12, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
    • Many thanks; nice work. I don't mind researching sources but I have a hangup over infoboxes :-( TerriersFan (talk) 21:21, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

uncategorized page list

Hi, where is this uncategorized page list? And, if I understand correctly, you patrol the list looking for articles to merge/redirect? TunaSushi (talk) 17:47, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
