Charlie Craggs[edit]

Hello Gavin. Please read WP:BLPPROD. It's not OK to remove reliable sources (like ITV News, Marie Claire and Huffpost) from an article as you just did in this series of edits to Charlie Craggs, and then propose it for BLP prod on the grounds of it being unsourced. It took me less than a minute's search to find multiple reliable sources on Google. I've added more reliable sources showing significant coverage in multiple independent, secondary sources. She's also not a self published author: her book was published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers, a subsidiary of Macmillan. If you still think she's not notable, then the article can be taken to WP:AFD, but I strongly recommend you read WP:BEFORE first. Capewearer (talk) 13:43, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay sorry. I saw this article flagged for deletion and my initial searching deemed the person as insignificant. How do I further raise the article for deletion GavinMansfield (talk) 15:57, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

March 2020[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Charlie Craggs, you may be blocked from editing. Capewearer (talk) 06:15, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free. I have been a user longer than you, this topic is not at all notable. I will be taking this to sys admin GavinMansfield (talk) 01:24, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Charlie Craggs shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. nominating an article for deletion[edit]

You added an AFD tag to Charlie Craggs but neglected to complete the process. Please read WP:AFDHOWTO and finish the nomination process or the tag will be removed. Schazjmd (talk) 15:21, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks so much for the help, I will try to do this ASAP GavinMansfield (talk) 15:39, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am unsure about what I did not do properly GavinMansfield (talk) 15:39, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Click this link and follow the steps: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Charlie_Craggs&action=edit&preload=Template:Afd2+starter&editintro=Template:Afd3+starter WanderingWanda (talk) 17:41, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If you can't follow the steps, then use the instructions for unregistered editors: note the justification for deletion on the article's talk page, then post a message at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion requesting that someone else complete the process. Schazjmd (talk) 22:20, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I find this very confusing. Perhaps it is best if I stop editing on Wikipedia GavinMansfield (talk) 23:53, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You can revert your edit to Charlie Craggs if you don't intend to complete the process. Schazjmd (talk) 00:07, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I will be brave and try to push forward with this, the page was meant to be deleted 2 years ago GavinMansfield (talk) 00:10, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
