Your request for rollback[edit]

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you no longer want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Happy editing! Thanks for reverting[edit]

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my talk page. ... discospinster talk 03:39, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My edits which you reverted earlier[edit]

Not too sure how to go about discussing this, is this the correct way to do so?

I would like to discuss the rationale behind the revertions; and whether there is a difference between linking to a company website or a collection of objective information about said company - I haven't used Wikipedia much and thought spam was for commercial stuff - surely every page about a retailer can be construed as advertising? I landed here because I was trying to find some deals on Google and realised that most of those that are available through (advertising free) resources could be a welcome inclusion for others attempting to find the same: it wasn't a very useful page for me to land on, but it would have been once I added the external link. I appreciate your point re "advertising / promotion" however I take umbrance at the "spamming Wikipedia" comments. My understanding of the word spam is that it relates to unsolicited commercial information - this was neither unsolicited nor commercial in nature: in that I do not gain financially, nor (as far as I can tell) does the site I linked to; and that Wikipedia actively solicits editors to make such changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rabmaster (talkcontribs) 22:17, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since I reverted one of your additions, I'll add my reasoning. Wikipedia is not a shopping guide or a price guide. I reverted your addition because it was a link to a deal site. See this link, #5.--Terrillja talk 22:30, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for restoring my citations on San Jose Sharks[edit]

Not sure why they were deleted in the first place... --76.200.102.245 (talk) 00:43, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wayman Tisdale[edit]

Some added a quote that sounds very fake to me. I went to school with Wayman and he would never say basketball first, music forever. That however, is a riff off a made-up quote someone added to Maurice Jarre's page when he recently died. The fake quote was then stuck in newspapers everywhere. Please do something to fix it before some por obituary writing sap gets screwed. . —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.154.11.43 (talk) 23:07, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Other users get to put games in the userpages that THEY have![edit]

Fine, I guess I should delete the link. I'll do that, but please don't delete my game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Math321 (talkcontribs) 23:46, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know that now.[edit]

I know that now. I looked at the link in the last one that didn't get deleted, and I saw that it didn't have the "User:" in it. Sorry about that. *Looks down.* *Remembers something.* OH YEAH I FOUND SOME VANDALISM and I do NOT know how to report it because it's a redirect. Here it is.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Poorly-produced_Japanese_action_cartoon_series&redirect=no

Somebody better fix it, but I don't know how. *Remembers something else.* Oh yeah, I found it while playing around with search, if that's important. What would you suggest? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Math321 (talkcontribs) 01:37, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AND, 0.999.... DOES NOT equal 1.[edit]

0.999999..... Never stops, so it can never regroup into 1, right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Math321 (talkcontribs) 01:43, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I may have found more spam...[edit]

Hey, long time no see, Garyzx. I may have found more spam, all redirects, AGAIN. *Sigh.*

Dumb quote

Dumb signs <--- (I agree that this one is dumb, but it's even dumber to vandalize Wikipedia to make a point.)

I have not spammed wikipedia![edit]

Hi Dear Garyzx, I hope that you get this message. Today I got a message from you while opening Wikipedia that User talk:59.178.186.123 would be banned/blacklisted because of spamming! I am in utter state of shock. I have contributed to Wikipedia through my ID temashibo, and occasionally and unintentionally without logging in as well. I would like to clearly state that I do not have any malafied intentions and I respect Wikipedia's policy. Earlier, I had added few pics to article on 'Pantnagar University', which were promptly judged unsuitable for wikipedia because ther were for educational purposes (wikipedia needs images to be commercially usable). Those images were removed by reviewers and I also promptly removed some other images. Please go through the article on Pantnagar University, which I have contributed significantly. So, far there has not been any issues regarding my writing style or giving references. If there are any issues, I will correct myself at the earliest. I have never put any spam on wikipedia. I am still unable to gather, why such harsh message was given to me. Please check my contributions and let me know what major flaw I have done. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Temashibo (talkcontribs) 05:13, 1 February 2010

The message wasn't meant for you. See user talk:Temashibo#Reply for details. Garyzx (talk) 06:46, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
